This includes (1) formative research to understand the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) needs of adolescent mothers in Ebonyi and Kogi states of Nigeria and the gaps in the current system, then (2) an implementation research study to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of a package of interventions designed to address the identified gaps. We will conduct a qualitative, cross-sectional, descriptive study using focus group discussions (FGD5) and in-depth interviews (lDls).<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for highly motivated, multitasking and experienced individuals to work in the capacity below on contract basis:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Title: Research Assistant<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nLocations:<\/strong> Ebonyi and Kogi<br \/>\nSlot: 6 position for each state<br \/>\nJob Type: Contract\u00a0(4 &#8211; 6 Weeks)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position reports to the Program Manager and will work closely with the Monitoring Evaluation &amp; Research team and Program Officers to ensure that the Study results inform whether group care is a viable strategy to improve the quality and acceptability of ANC and increase retention in care through pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend week long training session on ASRH study data collection and use of ComrnCare Dimagi.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Research study team in orienting and training youth groups and other stakeholders (CHEWS<\/li>\n<li>CHW5) in the community on how to recruit volunteers in a non-pressuring or coercive way using the voucher System,<\/li>\n<li>Participates in recruitment of adolescents through respondent-driven sampling and a voucher system.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct selection and screening of recruited participants using specified selection criteria and obtaining consent from selected participants<\/li>\n<li>Transfer initial screening information from participants to Commcare via project provided tablet<\/li>\n<li>Create consent logs and group cohort logs: share group cohort logs with providers: update program officers weekly with enrollment numbers<\/li>\n<li>Conduct qualitative data collection (FGD5 and lDls) to all consented study subjects at the time of consent CommCare and audio recording<\/li>\n<li>Track study subjects to participate in group discussions at appropriate times: record if subjects move out of Study area and\/or are lost to follow up<\/li>\n<li>Arrange meeting time and place in consultation with health facility managers<\/li>\n<li>Support Focused group discussion in their respective areas as requested by the research team<\/li>\n<li>Carryout data collection, data entry and data quality procedures as outlined in relevant project SOPs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe custody of equipment supplied for the study<\/li>\n<li>Keep accurate records of consent forms and other study related documents.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the research team on any ethical issues that may arise during the period of engagement in the study With the supervisor, set targets and work out timesheet of activities conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Write and submit a weekly report of activities conducted to the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Experience\/Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Sociology, Health Sciences Research or Biostatistics, Nursing, Public Health is desirable. Master in Public Health, Biostatistics or sociology is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in qualitative research methods and publication track record are desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical.<\/li>\n<li>Good spoken and written English.<\/li>\n<li>Good spoken and written of at least 3 of Ibo, Igala, Yoruba, Pidgin is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Sensitivity to sociocultural and religious differences is expected.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and meet deadlines at short notice.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Competence with data analysis software including Atlas,ti is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Residence in Ebonyi and Kogi States will be a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Driver<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Nassarawa<br \/>\nSlot: 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for driving the vehicle for GANC business purposes, including driving passengers as directed by the office, also:<\/li>\n<li>Make scheduled passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, as directed by the Administrative Officer<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to the JHPIEGO security procedures and other policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that passengers are kept as secure as possible<\/li>\n<li>Report any suspicious threats or security situations to the Administrative Officer immediately<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for cleaning and providing preventive maintenance on the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for liaising with Administrative Officer in fueling and performing repairs on the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the collection and dispatching of mails\/deliveries with the officer in charge<\/li>\n<li>Assist in setup and preparation of workshops or other training events, including packaging and hauling of materials<\/li>\n<li>Complete the vehicle log daily<\/li>\n<li>Document all errands, trips and deliveries daily<\/li>\n<li>Assume other duties as assigned by supervisor to ensure the smooth functioning of the office and the achievement of project goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secondary School Certificate (SSC) with a pass in English and Mathematics.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driving license with excellent driving ability<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years\u2019 experience in a similar position preferably in an NGO<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of automobiles and ability to make minor repairs and perform preventive maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in oral and written English is required.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills including the ability to handle a variety of assignments sometimes under pressure of deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Hausa language will be an advantage,<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to take on extra responsibilities in order to achieve the goals\/objectives set by the organization<\/li>\n<li>Residence in Lafia, Nasarawa State will be a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Research Assistant<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Lafia, Nassarawa<br \/>\nSlot: 20<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position reports to the Program Manager and will work closely with the Monitoring Evaluation &amp;
