With 50,000+ employees and $46B+ in global sales in 160 countries, Lenovo is a global leader in innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technologies.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:<\/b> Smartphones Sales Lead, West Africa<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\"><b>Key Objectives of Position:<\/b><br \/>\nResponsible for achieving the Region\u2019s Unit &amp; Financial goals by effectively managing the Smartphone and Tablet product portfolio across Africa region in collaboration with Africa GM responsible for the P&amp;L for related Smartphone and tablet products. The incumbent would build, implement, and execute relevant programs with high return on investment for the Region.<br \/>\nThis involves successfully integrating &amp; executing to programs not limited to but including the following:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Channel management and managing the distribution landscape across the \u2018Africa\u2019 territory<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Manage relationships and influence key stakeholders in both direct and indirect Large Format Retail partners<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Drive sell thru and sell out through the effective execution of various schemes and promotions and assessment of ROI of these programs<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Manage the field promoter program and Point of Sale with retailers<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Providing relevant input to the annual &amp; quarterly planning cycles by LOB key financials (Units, AUR, AUM, Rev, Margin)\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.fieldlabel.JPM_ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS\" class=\"pc-rtg-h2\" title=\"\"><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS\">\u00a0<\/label><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"pc-rtg-body\"><b>Position Requirements<br \/>\nSuccess Factors<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Keen focus on customer needs<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Strong collaboration with Africa General Manager and other internal stakeholders<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Ability to build effective \u201cvirtual\u201d teams and drive results through others in a complex cross-functional organization required.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Strong negotiation and influencing skills required, as well as an ability to interact effectively with high level decision makers \/ executives.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Adapt at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Superior verbal and written communication skills.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Entrepreneurial self-starter; excels at unsupervised execution.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Deep knowledge and insights about the Smartphone category<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Acute business Sense and Keen Analytical Mind<br \/>\n<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"pc-rtg-body\"><b>Essential Experience &amp; Key Skills<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Over 15 years of experience in product management \/ portfolio planning \/ sales roles out of which at least 5 years should be in the feature phone \/ smart phone category<br \/>\n<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"pc-rtg-body\"><b>Essential Qualifications<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"pc-rtg-body\">Graduate across any discipline<\/span>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0apply below<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lenovo is the #1 PC manufacturer in the world.
