We are a dedicated team of professional consultants offering top of the line executive recruitment and selection services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Infra Architect &#8211; Data centre &#8211; Unix<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<\/p>\n<p>The job description is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to recent architectural developments<\/li>\n<li>Advising the project management team on technical planning matters<\/li>\n<li>Advising the development teams on new technologies and system requirements<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of new hardware\/software products and techniques relevant to the enterprise environment<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the implementation of new systems as required<\/li>\n<li>Offering guidance and support to engineering staff as required<\/li>\n<li>Creation of high-level designs, low-level designs, firewall rule sets and project plans<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with and relationship-management of third-party suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Capacity Planning and Right-sizing techniques on Oracle Solaris systems, Linux<\/li>\n<li>Oracle\/Sun hardware platforms including M-series, X-series, B-series and T-series<\/li>\n<li>Solaris 10 &amp; 11 in-depth, including LDOMs, Zones, HA and clusters<\/li>\n<li>The installation, configuration and maintenance of Solaris 10, 11 and Linux systems<\/li>\n<li>Software, firmware and patch upgrading techniques and best practices<\/li>\n<li>System hardening, security and access control principals, tools and techniques<\/li>\n<li>Storage configuration including Sun Volume Manager and Veritas Volume Manager<\/li>\n<li>SQL databases including Oracle, ODBC, JDBC, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Solaris Performance Tuning and Alert Monitoring techniques<\/li>\n<li>Oracle Operations Center (Manager) including templates, provisioning and patching<\/li>\n<li>Archiving Solutions (Netbackup, RMAN, Cloning, Replication etc)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants should mail their resumes to <strong>jayasutha@ascentech.com.ng<\/strong> with subject of the mail stating Infra Architect &#8211; Data centre &#8211; Unix<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Ltd acts as a gateway to provide a wide range of recruitment and selection services to companies.
