The formation of CPJ is based on the understanding of the role of human governance to protect citizens, punish those who do wrong and promote the general welfare of citizens.<\/p>\n<p>CPJ works with faith based and secular organizations committed to peace and social justice irrespective of faith, race or nationality. The vision of CPJ is a world of harmony, abundance and solidarity and the mission is to act as catalyst to empower citizens to work for peace and social justice.<\/p>\n<p>The CPJ is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions in its headquarters in Lagos:<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: Programme Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Lagos<b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Primary Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\nThe Programme Officer shall be responsible for the development and management of the programmes of the Centre. He\/She shall be accountable to the Executive Director. The responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic Planning and Development<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource Management<\/li>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Programme Management<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy and Campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Others: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce reports as are required for the proper functioning of the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Take active part in the activities of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organisation delegated by relevant supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Assume any other responsibility relevant to the position and as may be assigned by relevant supervisors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Education: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of HND or Bachelor&#8217;s degree in any field<\/li>\n<li>A higher degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of four years post NYSC experience as a Programme Assistant or Programme Officer.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of project management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills and Abilities: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication and Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work without supervision<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy and Campaign skills<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Title: Finance and Admin Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Lagos<b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Primary Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Finance and Admin officer will lead the management of the CPJ\u2019s finances as well as all administrative issues.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She shall be accountable to the Executive Director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The responsibilities include:<br \/>\n<b>Financial Management: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the process of financial planning for the CPJ including three year plans and annual budget.<\/li>\n<li>Compute and ensure the payment of PAYE\/NHF\/Pension Withholding tax are deducted and timely remitted to relevant agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial advice to the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports<\/li>\n<li>Ensure annual external audit and filling of papers at the Corporate Affairs Commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Administration: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures necessary to ensure value for money in procurement of and utilisation of CPJ\u2019s services and goods.<\/li>\n<li>Provide logistics support to the Staff, Consultants and clients of the organisaton.<\/li>\n<li>Document and file properly CPJ\u2019s documents, publications and assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Others:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce financial reports as are required the proper functioning of CPJ.<\/li>\n<li>Take active part in the activities of the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organisation as delegated by relevant supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Assume any other responsibility relevant to the position and as may be assigned by relevant supervisors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Education: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of HND or Bachelors degree in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>A higher degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of two years post NYSC experience as a Finance<\/li>\n<li>Officer\/Cashier or Finance Assistant.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of accounting software and packages is necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills and Abilities: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work without supervision<\/li>\n<li>Administrative skills and expertise in documentation and filling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nHow To Apply <\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their application letters; capability statements and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<b>recruitment@cpjglobal.org<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b>Application Deadline:<\/b>\u00a03rd August, 2016.<b> <\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Catalyst for Global Peace and Social Justice (CPJ) is a faith based organization setup by committed and credible Christian leaders in Nigeria and committed to the enthronement of peace,&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10155,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[32],"tags":[2621],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
