In the rest of the geographies, it offers 2G, 3G and 4G wireless services and mobile commerce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0General Manager, Retail Sales<\/strong><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b>Job description<\/b><br \/>\n1.<b>Business Planning <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Franchise\/Retail Store rollout within the business<\/li>\n<li>Compile Franchise\/Retail Store Mobile Business Plans \u2013 outlining attainment of targets<\/li>\n<li>Implementation &amp; Control<\/li>\n<li>Forecasting device sales<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on business to line manager<\/li>\n<li>Price structuring &amp; control input within the business<\/li>\n<li>Project management of store rollouts and cost control<\/li>\n<li>Advertising ( above and below the line) &#8211; suggestions<\/li>\n<li>Franchise\/Retail store segmentation and development<\/li>\n<li>Establish and align the business budgets for rollout<\/li>\n<li>Forecasting sales from outlets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2.\u00a0 <b>Franchise Selection and Governance\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design franchise selection framework<\/li>\n<li>Grow the Airtel market share\/presence within your channel<\/li>\n<li>Implement &amp; sustain contracts\/contacts in your channel<\/li>\n<li>Design franchise operating manual and prospectus<\/li>\n<li>Drive consistency in \u2018look and feel\u2019 of all showrooms and franchise shops (Airtel Express Showrooms, Retail Sales Outlets etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3.\u00a0 <b>Performance Management<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define performance standards across retail footprint<\/li>\n<li>Develop competency matrix for showroom and franchise employees<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Regional Retail Heads and teams to drive retail KPIs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4.\u00a0<b>Manage the Division\u2019s budget, projects, people and process to achieve set targets.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimize operating costs to ensure ROI<\/li>\n<li>Design an effective rewards scheme for showroom team<\/li>\n<li>Top talent career mapping\/development<\/li>\n<li>Ensure optimal placement of showrooms employees (e.g. flagship showrooms)<\/li>\n<li>Drive team Employee Engagement for improved performance and talent retention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desired Skills and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 15 years work experience with at least 10 years relevant work experience in Retail\/Customer Service, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management Experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build strong internal and external working relationships<\/li>\n<li>Strategic focus<\/li>\n<li>People development\/ management<\/li>\n<li>Customer orientation<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Strong personal commitment towards achieving the company\u2019s goals and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Experience in monitoring and managing multiple retail outlets with a view to tracking &amp; optimizing service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create the ideal ambience for effective &amp; efficient customer service<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of the Nigerian GSM industry<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bharti Airtel Limited is a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 18 countries across Asia and Africa.
