He\/ She will also be responsible for organizing promotional, business and social events. He\/ she must understand the clients&#8217; needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout campaigns, often on a daily basis. He\/ She will ensure that advertising projects are completed on time and on budget. He\/she will be involved in new business development. The role can involve handling multiple accounts and the hours can be long in a competitive environment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities and Accountability<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for building clientele base of the organisation by developing new businesses<\/li>\n<li>Acquire marketing communication and other related briefs from clients<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports from meetings<\/li>\n<li>Monitor progress of briefs and projects internally<\/li>\n<li>Prepare strategy documents, proposals, media plans and budgets for clients<\/li>\n<li>Participate in brand strategy discussions<\/li>\n<li>Develop contact reports of meetings with client and dispatch same promptly<\/li>\n<li>Prepare weekly reports of clients and vendors transactions with agency<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings whenever required<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all internal departments, approved vendors and service providers to ensure smooth flow of all assigned projects.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, direct, organize and co-ordinate events and programs<\/li>\n<li>Manage staff responsible for event co-ordination<\/li>\n<li>Preparing cost estimates for campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Booking venues, entertainment, equipment and supplies<\/li>\n<li>Engage in proactive thoughts and generate new ideas for client\u2019s brands.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in developing &amp; executing annual client target setting &amp; strategy review.<\/li>\n<li>Provide timely follow up on all advertising inquiries<\/li>\n<li>Manage both existing and new accounts with the same degree of professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Develop and enhance business relationships fostering existing and new business<\/li>\n<li>Present thoughts on creative outputs and thereafter discussing the same with internal team<\/li>\n<li>Relationship management.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty as may be assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements (Skills &amp; Qualifications): <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 years experience in the required field<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, and power point<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve desired business results<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and professional manner in all interactions; commitment to continuous learning and professional development<\/li>\n<li>Good listening and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be presentable and well groomed<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn<\/li>\n<li>Budget- management<\/li>\n<li>Problem-soling skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Project management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Note: <\/b><br \/>\nAdvertising agency and events management experience is an added advantage<\/p>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nApplicants should send their CVs to <b>careers@oaklandsandjohnson.com<\/b> on or before Friday, 19th August 2016<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oaklands and Johnson &#8211; A 360 degree marketing communications company is recruiting for the position of a channel development executive on behalf of its client Job Title:\u00a0Brand\/Client Service Manager\u00a0 Job&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10155,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[43],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
