{"id":29881,"date":"2016-08-16T11:23:54","date_gmt":"2016-08-16T10:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=29881"},"modified":"2016-08-25T08:27:55","modified_gmt":"2016-08-25T07:27:55","slug":"spdc-shell-livewire-nigeria-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/spdc-shell-livewire-nigeria-programme.html","title":{"rendered":"SPDC (SHELL) LiveWIRE Nigeria Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC), operator of the NNPC\/Shell\/Total\/Agip Joint Venture (SPDC JV) announces the commencement of the 2016 LiveWIRE Nigeria Programme specifically targeted at youths in Ogoniland.<\/p>\n<p>LiveWIRE is a youth enterprise development programme supported by the SPDC JV.\u00a0 The programme aims to inspire, encourage and support young entrepreneurs aged 18-35 to start their own businesses through the provision of training and startup finance.<\/p>\n<p><b>2016 LiveWIRE Nigeria Programme<\/b><br \/>\nThe LiveWIRE programme objectives are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enable youths to establish businesses by providing business planning and management skills through the \u2018Become a Successful Business Owner Course\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Provide business startup grants for candidates with the best business plans.<\/li>\n<li>Link successful candidates to third parties like banks, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and allied financial institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a volunteer mentoring programme for successful candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Programme Content<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-startup:- Value and Organise Yourself (VOY)<\/li>\n<li>Business Startup (How to access finance &amp; technology)<\/li>\n<li>Post startup (Mentoring, Incubation, Market linkages)<\/li>\n<li>Bright Ideas workshop<\/li>\n<li>Business Planning &amp; Management (Become a Successful Business Owner)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Applications Eligibility <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Male and female applicants who are indigenes of communities in the following 4 Ogoni LGAs in Rivers State:\u00a0 Eleme, Tai, Gokana, and Khana aged between 18-35;<\/li>\n<li>Must be resident in Rivers State;<\/li>\n<li>Must have an innovative business idea; and<\/li>\n<li>Must desire to own and manage a business.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a university degree or HND<\/li>\n<li>Must possess the\u00a0 NYSC discharge certificate or certificate of exemption;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.livewire-nigeria.org\/home\/2016-livewire-nigeria-apply-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><b>Click Here To Apply<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Important Notes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SPDC does not demand payment from applicants.
