Empire Trust Microfinance Bank (ETMfB) officially commenced operations on 12th February 2015. ETMfB was created with the objective to reduce Nigerian population living below poverty line by intervening and enhancing the capacities of the low-end actively engaged populace which is in line with the global initiative of poverty alleviation.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the following vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Area Manager (Retail Loans)<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To supervise at least 4 branch managers and will report to the Group Lending General Managers in the Head Office.<\/li>\n<li>He\/ She will be responsible for the growth of the business in their Areas of coverage and will be appraised based on the area performance.<\/li>\n<li>He\/ She will ensure that Loan Drive is done regularly on the default loans and maintain minimum default rate below 0.2%<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and increasing sales of the company&#8217;s products<\/li>\n<li>Reaching the targets and goals set for your area<\/li>\n<li>Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer data base<\/li>\n<li>Servicing the product needs of your potential\/existing customers<\/li>\n<li>Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market<\/li>\n<li>Setting targets for Branch manager as a whole<\/li>\n<li>Product Orientation of all Branch Manager<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring Branch manager performance and motivating them to reach targets<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with products and competitors<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all Branch Manager attend customer\u2019s group meeting on a regular basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have at least 6 years\u2019 microfinance experience in related job functions.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of professional qualifications will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>University Degree in a related subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Branch Manager (Retail Loans)<br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nBranch Managers (Retail Loans) Group &amp; Individual lending:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He\/She will supervise maximum of 4 Loan Officers that will cover the business of their environment,<\/li>\n<li>Get detailed report from Loan Officers on customer\u2019s group meeting on a regular basis and report directly to the Area Manager<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Managing ,staffing and scheduling all directs report of the branch to the Area Manager<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for driving new client acquisition and retention, growing market share<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that branch operations are effective and compliance requirement are met<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for branch operations and compliance by providing direction and guidance to branch staff on operational \/regulatory procedures<\/li>\n<li>Allocating marketing areas of coverage to Loan Officer<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring Loan Officer performance on a weekly basis based on set target<\/li>\n<li>Deposit mobilization and account opening<\/li>\n<li>Marketing of Bank\u2019s products and services<\/li>\n<li>Monitor\/supervise Micro loan Field Officers to ensure compliance with policy\/processes<\/li>\n<li>Verification of group loan customers and addresses<\/li>\n<li>Identify areas of need and advice management of possible solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have at least 4 years\u2019 microfinance experience in related job functions.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of professional qualifications will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>University Degree in a related subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head: Enterprise Risk, Corporate Auditor \/Internal Control<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations&#8217; effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will be responsible for the audit of the group business and identify all risk and mitigate them. He\/she will report directly to the MD\/CEO and the Board of Directors.<\/li>\n<li>Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans<\/li>\n<li>Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data,etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports that reflect audit&#8217;s results and document process<\/li>\n<li>Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings<\/li>\n<li>Maintain open communication with management and audit committee<\/li>\n<li>Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum<\/li>\n<li>Conduct follow up audits to monitor management&#8217;s interventions<\/li>\n<li>Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards<\/li>\n<li>Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization<\/li>\n<li>Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business<\/li>\n<li>Risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization and evaluating the organization&#8217;s previous handling of risks;<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and quantifying the organization&#8217;s &#8216;risk appetite&#8217;, i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept<\/li>\n<li>Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have at least 4 years\u2019 experience in audit and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of professional qualifications will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>University Degree in a related subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Manager (Legal &amp; Remedial)<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To Manage bank remedial portfolio providing focused remedial management oversight in terms of portfolio strategy within management standards and credit policies<\/li>\n<li>Developing and implementing recovery strategies that are intended to either minimize the risks or maximize returns on managed transactions for the purpose of restructuring, stabilizing, or exiting managed accounts<\/li>\n<li>Ensure remedial management activities comply with local regulatory requirements as well as internal policy and procedures, and responds timely to any changes<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential policy, process, procedure and people weaknesses in problem recognition and remedial management and recommend enhancements to improve or remediate deficiencies to increase capacity and\/or reduce costs<\/li>\n<li>Managing the assigned portfolio within acceptable risk parameters, designing and implementing remedial strategies<\/li>\n<li>Working, interacting and negotiating with internal and external customers, and external counterparties as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating collateral and documentation to identify any documentation exceptions\/deficiencies, and to determine appropriate remedial\/recovery strategy<\/li>\n<li>Developing and presenting action plans for assigned portfolio to senior management<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing accounts on a monthly basis to gauge the level of progress achieved versus stated action plan, payment status (delinquency), appropriateness of classification and risk ratings, adherence to financial restructuring and any other internal or external follow-ups that arise during the course of time<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to implementation of policy and initiatives relating to collateral matters<\/li>\n<li>Keeping abreast of internal and external development that impact on collateral management and work with Management.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will also work on the recovery of our cumulative written off loans and ensure that we are complying with all regulatory reports and requirements and respond to all letters received from customers and their lawyers.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will be responsible for vetting of S.M.E loan documentations, letters and collateral agreements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He\/she must be a lawyer with cognate experience in litigation and corporate law,<\/li>\n<li>She will relate with our external lawyers where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>The person must have at least 3 &#8211;
