Shipments, Clearing &amp; Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage Removals and Procurement Services to blue-chip firms in the country.<\/p>\n<p>We are presently seeking to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accounts Executive<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review, check petty cash reimbursements and issue cheques for all accounts due<\/li>\n<li>Generating daily cash book reports\/summaries and banking of company\u2019s funds<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring\/managing cash flow to ensure sufficient funds availability<\/li>\n<li>Preparing\/providing information and assisting in the conduct of the finance audit<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling, recording and banking of revenue<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking reconciliations and preparing reconciliation statements<\/li>\n<li>Data entry and maintenance of all aspects of bookkeeping records including sales and purchase ledger input, reconciliations, journals and nominal ledger administration<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely generation of customers\u2019 invoices in accordance with the individual contracts\/agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Establish a reliable\/efficient information system to monitor billing and collection reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure periodical reconciliation of accounts receivables related accounts.Produce financial and operational reports related to collection in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Review and control of daily collection reportsLiaises with internal and external auditors on billing and collection related issues<\/li>\n<li>Resolve all problems for clients, copy invoices, proof of delivery, credit notes, and liaise internally to progress any problems that are being handled in any other department<\/li>\n<li>Consult with clients to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions<\/li>\n<li>Report to management on outstanding issues and potential debtors problems<\/li>\n<li>Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers&#8217; financial situations<\/li>\n<li>Locate and notify clients of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone, or personal visits to solicit payment<\/li>\n<li>Persuade customers to pay amounts due on credit accounts, damage claims, or non-payable cheques<\/li>\n<li>Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service, or credit contracts<\/li>\n<li>Locate and monitor overdue accounts, using computers and a variety of automated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills second class Upper in Accounting\u00a0 or any related discipline from a reputable University<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 1-2 years\u2019 experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Applicant should not be more than 29 years<\/li>\n<li>Candidate should be preferably female<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience with invoicing and customer relationship management is required.<\/li>\n<li>Competence in Microsoft office \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Nationwide<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience and knowledge of the transport industry is key and we will be looking at candidates with years of experience in the industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Haulage Supervisor in the allocation of job TDOs and waybills to competent transport service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting Haulage Supervisor in conducting physical and mechanical evaluation of trucks provided by transporters in order to ensure they are safe for the transport of client\u2019s goods and also meet up with truck standard requirements of clients.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up goods in transit.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Haulage Supervisor in educating transporters on client\u2019s warehouse safety policy on transport and other transport requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure transporters comply with client\u2019s warehouse safety policy all times while in the premises<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of truck drivers at warehouses before, during and after consignment offloading to avoid disruption of operations and traffic congestion at warehouses.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting areas of non-compliance of transporters to warehouse safety policy to haulage supervisor for necessary action.<\/li>\n<li>Collection of empty returned container cards and waybills from transporters.<\/li>\n<li>Updating job files and Haulage register.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the payment of transporters.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in closing of invoiced jobs on the intranet.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Haulage Supervisor in processing and follow up of clients shipping and terminal refunds.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in searching and recruitment of competent and efficient transporters to lift client\u2019s consignment from port terminals to various clients\u2019 warehouses in a timely, efficient and professional manner.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the management and update of transporters data base and GIT status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have knowledge of routes within ports and outside Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Must have information on sourcing transport companies<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to generate reports<\/li>\n<li>Good Negotiation and communication skills is required<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to handle drivers and 3rd Party Transporters<\/li>\n<li>Must be Organised and able to generate innovative ideas to support the business.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A graduate of a reputable university with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division in Logistics, Business Administration or any related discipline<\/li>\n<li>A Minimum of Two years\u2019 experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a valid
