Sound like a job for you?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Finance Controller<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><br \/>\nBased in Abuja Nigeria, the role will oversee all accounting, reporting and compliance activities with support from regional, global and SSC teams. The responsibilities include working as a single point of contact (SPOC) for all local and West Africa finance activities as well as providing sound leadership as part of the Nigeria Leadership Team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure Compliance to Corporate Controllership Policies (CCP\u2019s) and FCPA (vendor approvals)<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and submission of quarterly controllership and tax certification<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly tax provisions; US and statutory tax reporting<\/li>\n<li>Providing support to business and finance projects<\/li>\n<li>Cost center; Balance sheet and Tax reviews<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to costing team on stock counts and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Manage local entity SLA\u2019s with SSC<\/li>\n<li>Drive local annual budget process<\/li>\n<li>Drive annual fixed assets verifications<\/li>\n<li>Business partnering and site visits for training, expense reporting, CCP\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Review of quarterly tax submissions \/ tax forecasts to USA\/annual SEC and GDX packs<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of annual and provisional income tax returns<\/li>\n<li>Internal audits, USGAAP\/external audits and statutory returns<\/li>\n<li>Prepare annual financial statements and drive IFRS conversions when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Approval of all balance sheet reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of legal entity cashflow forecasts and cash management (incl A\/R management)<\/li>\n<li>Month end closing activities \u2013 TB review (P&amp;L and Balance Sheet)<\/li>\n<li>Calculation and payment of provisional taxes in liaison with tax coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Approval of electronic vendor payments (account signatory)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with 3rd parties i.e. vendors, bank, tax authorities, auditors etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in business or related field<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification in accounting or finance (CPA\/Chartered Accountant)<\/li>\n<li>8 \u2013 10 years experience within finance; of which 2 years at managerial level .<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of local statutory compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Thorough understanding ofUSGAAP and IFRS concepts<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monsanto has more than 20,000 dedicated employees focused on developing solutions to help farmers have better harvests while using resources more efficiently.
