{"id":30766,"date":"2016-09-08T12:12:31","date_gmt":"2016-09-08T11:12:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=30766"},"modified":"2016-09-08T12:12:31","modified_gmt":"2016-09-08T11:12:31","slug":"oracle-corporation-job-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/oracle-corporation-job-nigeria.html","title":{"rendered":"Oracle Corporation Job in Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oracle provides the world&#8217;s most complete, open, and integrated business software and hardware systems, with more than 370,000 customers including 100 of the Fortune 100 representing a variety of sizes and industries in more than 145 countries around the globe.<br \/>\nOracle is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:\u00a0<\/b> Country Manager, Oracle Academy<br \/>\n<b>Location:<\/b> Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Program Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As Oracle\u2019s flagship philanthropic educational program, Oracle Academy advances computer science education globally to drive knowledge, innovation, skills development, and diversity in technology fields.<\/li>\n<li>To this end, Oracle Academy offers students and educational institutions a free and complete portfolio of software, curriculum, hosted technology, faculty trainings, support, and certification resources.<\/li>\n<li>The program works with public and private partners to provide the tools educators need to engage inspire and prepare students to become innovators and leaders of the future.<\/li>\n<li>Through Oracle Academy, students receive hands-on experience with the latest technologies, helping to make them college and career ready in the era of big data, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and beyond.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Brief Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the management of the Oracle Academy program, including marketing and outreach, program growth, training adoption and the development of strategic partnerships and projects..<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Detailed Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a member of the Oracle Academy team in EMEA, the Country Manager will promote Oracle Academy in Nigeria. This role will be based in Lagos.<\/li>\n<li>Recruit new Oracle Academy members, and work with the Oracle Academy Member Engagement and Services team to retain existing Oracle Academy members.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with key internal Oracle personnel to increase awareness of Oracle Academy program offerings and goals, including sales and pre-sales staff, Oracle University staff, alliances &amp; channels staff, and country management.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and run all promotional and recruitment events.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain general knowledge of all Oracle Academy policies, reporting and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Manage local Oracle Academy Marketing &amp; Outreach budget.<\/li>\n<li>Identify PR opportunities for the Oracle Academy and work with local PR managers via the global PR approval process to secure these opportunities in social and print media.<\/li>\n<li>Travel will be up to 10%.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and document anecdotal feedback from members, prospective members, and partners and provide input about Oracle Academy benefits and campaigns (current and future) to the Marketing, Member Engagement and Services, and Academy Program Development teams.<\/li>\n<li>Upon request, lead cross-team, global projects to develop marketing assets, campaigns and collateral.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement strategic projects to deepen Oracle Academy impact in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships with government organizations (MoEs), universities and other recognised education and partner organizations to facilitate Oracle Academy program marketing, training adoption and growth.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a go-to-market plan for each country which reflects the current education landscape aligned to the Oracle Academy program offerings.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop training demand and create training plans for Nigeria or partnership in association with the Oracle Academy curriculum and training team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Creative thinker with the ability to work as a self-starter both independently and collaboratively with the EMEA and larger, global Oracle Academy team<\/li>\n<li>BA or BS Degree in any major field.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years experience.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in a second local language is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Prior business development or sales experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the local education market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application \u00a0Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified<\/p>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oracle provides the world&#8217;s most complete, open, and integrated business software and hardware systems, with more than 370,000 customers including 100 of the Fortune 100 representing a variety of sizes&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10160,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[43],"tags":[113,2621],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
