{"id":31342,"date":"2016-09-23T10:35:48","date_gmt":"2016-09-23T09:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=31342"},"modified":"2016-11-10T10:33:27","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T09:33:27","slug":"vacancy-action-hunger-acf-international","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/vacancy-action-hunger-acf-international.html","title":{"rendered":"Vacancy at Action Against Hunger |ACF International"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><b>Action Against Hunger | ACF-International<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0works to save lives by combating hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable communities, through nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, health and advocacy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Human Resource Officer<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Borno<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:<\/strong><br \/>\nReporting to the Head of Base, the HR Officer will support the HR Department in ensuring that National staff are recruited, developed and managed in a strategic, proactive manner to ensure the mission\u2019s human resource requirements for programs and support positions; National staff benefits, data and information administration are carried out effectively, in close coordination with supervisors\/managers and administrators at all bases, to ensure smooth delivery of internal services to employees; the management team is supported with all administrative tasks related to both national and international staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the base\u2019s recruitment process<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper contract administration for all staff<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the processing of employee\u2019s salary and benefits<\/li>\n<li>Support in the mission\u2019s capacity building and career development<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and manage staff under your responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Provide overall support to the HR Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in fields related to HR, Administration and Management; masters\u2019 degree a plus<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years\u2019 experience working in HR and\/or administrative support positions<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of national labor law and employment norms and practices<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Approachable, diplomatic, able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Able to maintain confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amounts of information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills and Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\nPrevious experience working for INGOs an asset, particularly health related INGOs<br \/>\nFluency in one or more National\/regional languages an asset<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<br \/>\n<\/strong>Applicants should submit their application by email to\u00a0<strong>recruitment.ng@acf-international.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered, applications must include a CV and letter of interest, and indicate the full position title in the email subject line, or on the application envelope.\u00a0 Applications received without these specifications will not be considered.
