Job Recruitment at Action Against Hunger | ACF-International (5 Positions)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Action Against Hunger | ACF-International works to save lives by combating hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable communities, through nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, health and advocacy.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: <\/strong>Complaints Response Mechanism Assistant<strong><br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Monguno, Borno State<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CRM Assistant is responsible for ensuring mechanisms are in place in all Action Against Hunger programmes to strengthen the quality and accountability of emergency response under direct management of the CRM Officer and M&amp;E DPM.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will be responsible for upholding the organisation commitments towards Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP) standards especially in regards to information sharing, beneficiaries\u2019 participation, complaints and response mechanism.<\/li>\n<li>CRM Assistant will be the primary support person to the CRM Officer, will build capacity, monitor AAH performance against 2010 HAP standard, and, crucially, will, in the first instance be the first point of contact for beneficiary complaints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishment and management of the Feedback Mechanism for all ACF humanitarian projects.<\/li>\n<li>Management of the hotline system.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and Referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Represent ACF externally in relevant forums and working groups at State level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in Management, Social Research, Development Studies or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>At least with 2 years relevant experience in developing and maintaining accountability and learning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of accountability especially feedback mechanisms concepts and international humanitarian quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and local languages especially Hausa and Kanuri (both written and spoken skills).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Essential Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of HAP, Do No Harm and other relevant global standards.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of carrying out design and implementation of accountability and complaints reporting mechanisms in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of developing and\/or managing complaints reporting mechanisms for cash transfer programme.<\/li>\n<li>Ethical, focused on treating complainants\/ community fairly\u00a0 and culturally sensitive.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills especially developing databases<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local languages (Hausa and Kanuri).<\/li>\n<li>Sound analytical and conceptual skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and experience in report writing.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to ACF mission, values and policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in handling feedback mechanism<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of working with NGOs<\/li>\n<li>Proven interest &amp; graduate degree in a related field a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Essential Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of emergency nutrition work and the design and implementation of feeding programmes (ideally both C-IYCF and IFC, CTC\/CMAM), including IYCF monitoring and evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Proven capacity to supervise, train and coach staff.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable ability at report writing and excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and a willingness to be respectful, kind, sensitive and empathise with all beneficiaries and their careers.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepared to live and work in an uncertain security environment.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to and understanding of ACF\u2019s aims, values and principles.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and spoken English and local languages;
