The University ventures include Bakery, Water Factory, Fish Farm, Juice Factory, Poultry, Oil Palm Plantation and Processing Plant etc.<br \/>\nApplications are invited from qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Managing Director<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ondo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall success of the business.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals.<\/li>\n<li>The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe responsibilities of the Managing Director among others include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute the company&#8217;s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the Board and Shareholders.<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic advice to the Board so that they will have accurate view of the market and the Company&#8217;s future.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and maintain trust relationship with Shareholders, business Partners and Authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the company&#8217;s financial performance, investments and other business ventures.<\/li>\n<li>Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work force, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.<\/li>\n<li>Read all submitted reports by lower rank Managers to reward performance, prevent negative issues and resolve problems.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial positions with not less than 8 years demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans through knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with corporate laws and management best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the use of Excel, Word, Power point, Database and Programme Design.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc.\/B.A, in Business Administration or relevant fields and M.B.A\/M.Sc.\/M.A. will be preferred from recognized tertiary institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nCompetitive and subject to final terms of negotiation based on experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<br \/>\n<\/strong>Applicants should send their electronic copy of their Application with their CV&#8217;s which will include names and addresses of three (3) referees to: <strong>info@osustech.edu.ng <\/strong>And twenty (20) hard copies sent to:<br \/>\n<strong>The Registrar,<br \/>\nOndo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH),<br \/>\nP.M.B 353,\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Okitipupa,<br \/>\nOndo State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are requested to inform their referees to send confidential reports on them directly to the Registrar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><br \/>\n1st November,2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via e-mail and phone calls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa &#8211; Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidate for the position to control and oversee all business operations, people and business&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10160,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[4,159],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
