He was the only son of his parents. DOAM Foundation is a non-racial, non-religious and non-discriminatory charitable organization. We respect and work with all manners of people, no matter where you come from or where you were born.<\/p>\n<p>The Foundation is presently seeking for skilled and highly motivated Program Officers to join its team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Program Officers<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Program Officer will be involved in proposal and report writing, community engagement, donor\/benefactor stewardship and fundraising amongst others.<br \/>\nIn this role, She\/He will be responsible for developing and sustaining long-term relationships with current and potential donors to maximize their philanthropic participation with the Foundation and must have strong interest in working with vulnerable populations, especially children and the youth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Database and donor relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Fund raising<\/li>\n<li>Research avenues and maintain a knowledge base to further develop and enhance the capacity of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare routine reports on program activities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare grant agreements and maintain grantee files.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation of funded projects.<\/li>\n<li>Develop ideas, projects and provide support to the Program Manager to develop strategies and intended outcomes to actualize the Foundation\u2019s mission and values.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Program Manager in partnering with other NGOs\/CBOs and Institutions for building community driven strategies of improving the livelihood of orphaned and vulnerable children, including less privileged youths.<\/li>\n<li>Engage communities in defining their needs and building community driven strategies to address these needs.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as defined by the Program Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A first degree in any social science discipline from a reputable University.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience on program development and management in the non-profit or development sector.<\/li>\n<li>Pleasant and amiable personality<\/li>\n<li>Good resource planning, organization and utilization skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Result oriented, with excellent report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team, as well as independently.<\/li>\n<li>Intellectual agility and the ability to analyze think critically and understand issues and trends in the non- profit sector.<\/li>\n<li>Unquestionable ethics and personal integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<br \/>\n<\/strong>To apply for this role, please forward:\u00a0A curriculum vitae, including names and contact details of three referees to\u00a0<strong>info@doamf.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Job location is in lagos and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial (DOAM) Foundation is a charitable, humanitarian, and non-governmental organization established in 2006, in memory of Master Daniel Ogechi Akujobi (1992-2005) who died from injuries he sustained&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10160,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[4,49,50],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
