Founded in 1993, the organization has distinguished itself as a focused IT solution provider in its chosen areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Software Engineer<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Devices and Techniques Nigeria\u00a0Limited are looking for Software Engineer to join our expanding team in a successful and dynamic Oil &amp; Gas Company. This role is for experienced engineers looking to further develop their skills and careers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree\u00a0Computer Science, or any related field strongly preferred; consideration given for technical knowledge as it relates to a degree.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 2 years\u2019 related experience is required.<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Windows, Citrix, and Linux platforms. \u00a0Certifications, Trainings or experience in databases and scripting or programming is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Oil and Gas Business applications like Petrel, ArGIS, PI, Wellview.<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must show a demonstrated desire to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support, optimisation and customisation software solutions using mainly Microsoft technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online tools and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that client systems are fully operational and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<li>Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times.<\/li>\n<li>Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management.<\/li>\n<li>Deployment of service releases, patches, upgrades, requests and customisations<\/li>\n<li>Create productive relationships with and between key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To assist with the support of internal applications and infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Creation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members and the company.<\/li>\n<li>Providing assistance and cover for other team members where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage projects and deliver end-to-end solutions relating with third-parties.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with source control and development IDEs.<\/li>\n<li>Development experience in (VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web API), JavaScript, Batch Commands and VB Scripting.<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS, Apache and networking tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience dealing with support cases or requests via service desk software, telephone and in person.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the Oil and Gas sector is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of change and release management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<br \/>\n<\/strong>To apply, please send your CV to <strong>info@devicestechniques.com<\/strong> or <a><strong>devices122@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/a>.The role is available for immediate recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Devices &amp;
