Play a leading role in safety meetings and the safety program<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to direct reports, and manage their efforts so as to maximize their contribution to operational effectiveness arid performance<\/li>\n<li>Direct enactment of the Operator\u2019s drilling programs and manage Company resources being applied to the drilling activities at site so as to achieve safe, efficient and effective operations. Conduct, together with the Operator\u2019s representatives, timely reviews of the drilling or work-over program<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the rig is operated in accordance within the design parameters and in conformance with Companies EMS, Be present at the rig floor or relevant area of the rig to direct all critical activities<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for planned maintenance, certification, record-keeping and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all equipment on site (including sub-contractors and Clients equipment) is suitable for use and in a safe condition.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain all required records and documentation at rig site in an organized manner and produce accurate and timely reports on all aspects or rig operations and personnel personnel matters.<\/li>\n<li>Develop rig move plans and manage rig moves, taking personal responsibility for safely rigging-down &amp; rigging-up of the drilling rig, camp and associated equipment<\/li>\n<li>Establish a culture of continuous improvement in operations and demonstrate results in this regard. Work with the Operator\u2019s site personnel and other site contractors to develop improved practices which will positively impact on drilling performance<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that drilling operations are conducted in accordance with policies and practices of Company, the Operator and relevant national authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Operator\u2019s other contractors who are involved In operations so as to achieve cohesion in concurrent\/simultaneous operations and cross-company teamwork &amp; effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for alt HR matters at rig site, including training and development of expatriate and national staff in the rig Crews, particularly with regard to on the job training<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the validity of personal certification and training together with that for the rig crews<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that incident reports are filled out in detail and in a timely manner in the event of an incident, illness, near miss, equipment damage or environmental spill<\/li>\n<li>Ensure understanding of, and compliance with. KCA Deutag permit to work system<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all daily\/monthly approval sheets and reimbursable sheets are prepared and agreed with the client representative on site, immediately after the service is done.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all statutory pollution prevention procedure &amp;<\/li>\n<li>Plan maintenance and repair tasks so as to minimise the effect on the drilling operation<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the order cleanliness and housekeeping at all relevant work sites and around alt rig equipment<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that an adequate supply of spare parts is maintained on the installation and stored in environment tally sound conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all sections of the Enhanced Drilling Reporting System (EDRS) are updated on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure representatives of certifying authorities on inspections of the installation are accompanied as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nSafety:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety is a line responsibility. Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance of alt equipment as well as the associated upkeep of the records and repair history and compliance with company policies.<\/li>\n<li>He is responsible for the health and surety of all persons under his authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Area(s) of Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All equipment and systems on the rig.<\/li>\n<li>Rig structure and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with Class and Company requirements for repairs and upkeep or all associated records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Supervises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Rig based maintenance teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute a preventative maintenance programme in accordance with Companies policy.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all Third Party personnel including Service Engineers comply with Companies \u2018Installation Safety Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor any rig equipment supplied by other contractors or sub-contractors to ensure that it is suitable for use within the areas desired.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all equipment, including tools and Instruments, under his control compiles with statutory requirements, and that it is maintained at all times ins sale condition, or assure that it otherwise is completely with drawn from service, including tools and instruments in their care.<\/li>\n<li>Operations and maintenance of main power systems and all auxiliary and associated control systems on the unit.<\/li>\n<li>The detection of machinery malfunction, location of faults to prevent or minimize damage.<\/li>\n<li>Operation and maintenance of systems for tire prevention, detection and extinction.<\/li>\n<li>The maintenance of survival craft and launching appliances, Ensure compliance with all statutory pollution prevention procedures Plan maintenance and repair tasks so as to minimize the effect on the drilling operation.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that operational management is made aware of any maintenance schedules that are defected, the reasons why and the potential consequences.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the order, cleanliness and housekeeping at all relevant work sites and around all rig equipment. To provide marked up updates or modify any drawings, sketches or Information on existing and replacement equipment as required.<\/li>\n<li>Report any misuse of equipment to the Drilling Project Manager<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that an adequate supply of spare parts is maintained on the installation and is stored in environmentally sound conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Check materials offloaded and complete manifests and requisitions for electrical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out and record the maintenance tasks specified by the computerized maintenance system<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all the Company\u2019s reporting system dale sheets are completed e.g. Maintenance tasks and Corrective Work Orders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the maintenance section in the Enhanced Drilling Reporting System is updated on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and when required adhere to the modifications to equipment process or systems to enhance safety, improve rig performance or comply with statutory notices<\/li>\n<li>To ensure representatives of certifying authorities on inspections of the installation are accompanied as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nSafety:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety is a line responsibility. Each individual member of the company should be aware of his responsibility to ensure safe working in his respective area.<\/li>\n<li>Apply Company safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>Report to his line supervisor all the potential hazards and abnormal situations<\/li>\n<li>Obtain the necessary safety clearance for the nature\/type of work to be carried out, in advance, in consultation with the HSE Adviser and in accordance with safety procedures (i.e. WORK PERMIT),<\/li>\n<li>Explain to the persons concerned the visible and hidden hazards involved In the jobs, (Job Safety Analysis\/ Pre job meeting).<\/li>\n<li>Instruct his personnel before commencing the work to the safety precautions and measures to he observed at work (toolbox meetings)<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and report near misses and correct them immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Promptly report to line management any violation of safety regulations by the personnel, even if this violation has not resulted in an accident.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be conversant with the rig maintenance budget and demonstrate an awareness of working to this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Systems and Processes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comply with the Permit to Work systems in operation on the rig and Base.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>People:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all employees under their authority have sufficient Information and knowledge to carry out their job without endangering any persons, plant or equipment and are adequately trained and experienced for a particular task before they are instructed to carry It out.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that health and safety at work and accident prevention are continuously brought to the attention of oil employees under their authority by means of lob supervision, instruction and training.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the performance evaluation of the personnel under their authority,<\/li>\n<li>Carry out competence assessment In respect of departmental staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quality:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance to all relevant Group management systems and where applicable client procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years proven experience working as Senior Electrical Supervisor in the drilling industry or in drilling<\/li>\n<li>Equipment related maintenance Environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognized degree from the German chamber of trading and commerce in energy electronics or equivalent Trade qualification papers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MS Office<\/li>\n<li>SAP<\/li>\n<li>KOMS (Kompass Operational Management System)<\/li>\n<li>CATS (Case Action Tracking System)<\/li>\n<li>EDRS (Enhanced Drilling Reporting System)<\/li>\n<li>Computerized Preventive Planned Maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Permit to work<\/li>\n<li>Electrical hazardous areas certificate<\/li>\n<li>SCR with drawings In DIN and ANS (most SCR systems are manufactured by Bentec)<\/li>\n<li>PLC Programs and programming IEC codes (AEG AKF, Concept, Win CC, Siemens Si. etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Top Drive experience with Varco TDS4H\/S, TDS11SA, IDS1 and Tesco HS500<\/li>\n<li>ABS VFD like ACS 800<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in Instrumentation like Totco six\/eight pen recorder,
