The Group&#8217;s broad range of industries and services offer rewarding prospects for various professional backgrounds and can satisfy ambitions for a successful future career.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Electrician (Shipyard)<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\nJob ID: 638<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nPrime Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs, major &amp; minor repairs, inspection, check list of Generators\u00a0 &amp; Welding\u00a0 machines\u00a0 &amp;Tower lights e.g. Electrical motors Transformers, Electrical panels<\/li>\n<li>Performs preventive and routine maintenance as per maintenance plan<\/li>\n<li>Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, Generator &amp; Tower light and welding machine and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Understands and follows all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the job.<\/li>\n<li>Reports completion of tasks assigned and indicates need for additional maintenance to appropriate personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Foreman and supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Trains subordinates &amp; provide technical guidance as requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any other duties as from time to time deemed necessary, which are not necessarily part of your usual job description.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Skills and Knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read drawings, schematics, Electrical drawings, reference manuals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nPerson:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least Three years of field experience with the technical school certificate<\/li>\n<li>Diploma is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work other schedules including shift work.<\/li>\n<li>Must be certified in all required engine performance, engine repair, and engine elect \/ electronics CAT foundational assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<br \/>\n<\/strong>Interested and qualified candidates should click below to apply online<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAGAL Group, is a leading Nigerian conglomerate with operations in the Oil &amp; Gas, Construction and Manufacturing industries.
