The company is looking to hire an Operations Manager for its office in<strong> Port-Harcourt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Operations Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specifically, the candidate will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement efficient operational processes for managing a strongly diversified life insurance book of business;<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in the implementation of IT systems to support the business;<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership for effective implementation and measurement of operating policies and procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Play a major role in the development of new products and services;<\/li>\n<li>Develop product documentation of the highest quality and distinction;<\/li>\n<li>General management, HR and supervisory skills;<\/li>\n<li>Strategy formulation and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Actively monitor performance against budget and expected key indicators and promptly address deviations from these targets;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation of operational reports;<\/li>\n<li>Establish and implement short- and long-range operational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Experience &amp; Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bachelor&#8217;s degree, preferably in Insurance, Actuarial Science or Mathematics &amp; Statistics from a reputable institution;<\/li>\n<li>A master&#8217;s degree In Insurance, Actuarial Science or Mathematics &amp; Statistics will be an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional qualification(s) i.e. ACII, ACIIN, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) years&#8217; related life insurance experience with at least three years life insurance experience in a senior management position for a reputable insurance company;<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of the insurance regulatory environment; The Insurance Act and Regulations and the NAICOM guidelines;<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance, management and practice;<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership and managerial ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:<\/strong><br \/>\nVery attractive with other work benefits<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<br \/>\n<\/strong>QUALIFIED APPLICANTS SHOULD SEND CVs to\u00a0\u2018<strong><em>mgtpositions<\/em><em><a>@stresert.com<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0using\u00a0<strong>\u2018BUS-MGR (PH)\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>as subject of your mail before November 10, 2016. \u00a0Wrong applications will not be attended to.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><br \/>\n10th November,2016<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stresert Services Limited &#8211; Our client is a leading insurance company with head office in Lagos.
