{"id":33114,"date":"2016-11-01T10:43:54","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T09:43:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=33114"},"modified":"2016-11-15T10:46:52","modified_gmt":"2016-11-15T09:46:52","slug":"job-vacancy-g4s-secure-solutions-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/job-vacancy-g4s-secure-solutions-nigeria.html","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy at G4S Secure Solutions Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>G4S<\/b> is the world&#8217;s leading global, integrated security company specialising in the delivery of security and related services to customers across six continents.<\/p>\n<p>The group is active in more than 100 countries*, and is the largest employer quoted on the London Stock Exchange with over 610,000* employees and has a secondary stock exchange listing in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>We play an important role in society &#8211; our employees deliver services that create a safe and better environment in which millions of people live and work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> General Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Introduction:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>G4S Secure Solutions Nigeria\u00a0seeks to appoint a General Manager\u00a0to lead and transform the organisation towards increased growth and development imperatives, sustainability and profitability in accordance with the\u00a0organisational vision and strategic intent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To guide the Company, in terms of the areas of business and the strategies for those areas of business.<\/li>\n<li>To direct, formulate and \/ or approve policies and procedures on service quality, pricing and customer relations.<\/li>\n<li>To direct the Company towards providing an effective, efficient and profitable service.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that the correct level of skills, education and experience are identified for management positions and to recruit adequate persons to fill these positions.<\/li>\n<li>To plan, prepare and monitor the business plan and budget so as to maximise profitability.<\/li>\n<li>To identify and initiate strategies that will add growth to the business to ensure its long term profitability and survival.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain close contact with the workforce through key managers to ensure feedback opportunities, the maintenance of good morale and a high standard of staff integrity and honesty. To formulate and \/ or approve wage increases.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain a clear communications path to the shareholders so that key issues confronting the Company are promptly identified and kept in focus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant business qualification preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Background in security management.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years experience in a business and \/ or operational senior management position.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commitment, leadership and management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in establishing medium-term growth strategies and strong operating mechanisms for performance.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, marketing and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Capable of working effectively and productively with team members.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the development and implementation of policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in living and working in a professional commercial capacity overseas.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain strong ethical and professional values.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to operate in diverse cultural environments.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and adaptability to rapid environmental changes.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the ability to understand problems, situations and the reasons behind them, crossing the barriers of languages and cultures.<\/li>\n<li>Autonomous and results orientated, with a clear determination to succeed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>G4S is the world&#8217;s leading global, integrated security company specialising in the delivery of security and related services to customers across six continents.
