{"id":3315,"date":"2010-03-05T21:02:13","date_gmt":"2010-03-05T20:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=3315"},"modified":"2010-10-23T18:27:03","modified_gmt":"2010-10-23T17:27:03","slug":"adexen-nigeria-cost-controller-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/adexen-nigeria-cost-controller-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Adexen Nigeria Vacancies: Cost Controller"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"_mcePaste\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/adexen.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-318\" title=\"adexen\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/adexen.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"104\" \/><\/a>Adexen Nigeria<\/strong> is a professional executive search firm offering comprehensive recruiting and assessment solutions, Adexen Nigeria is recruiting for their client, a leading provider of marines services to Multinational Oil Companies operating in off shore oil facilities, they are looking for an expatriate <strong>Cost Controller<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Cost Controller will participate in the development of the company Finance and Administration.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He will deal with all the financial and accounting issues related to the company in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>He will report directly to the FM and interacts on regular basis with Contract, Operation and Logistics Managers, business and finance staff of Group companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review accounting code on issued POs and the daily postings of all non-PO purchases to confirm their correct allocation to vessels and review accounting codes on issued POs<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Logistic Managers promptly invoice out \u2018Charge-Backs\u2019 according to SLAs<\/li>\n<li>Check the turnover of Back-to-Back charters matches the amount invoiced to customers to confirm all appropriate costs are back-charged to the Group companies that provide such vessels<\/li>\n<li>Check and confirm the accuracy and completeness of the invoiced turnover made by Contract Managers<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly Vessel Cost Reports to deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Align the finalised management accounting information that is reported to Group with the submitted corporate reported results<\/li>\n<li>Support the booking of comprehensive accruals &amp; provisions to provide accurate operating costs<\/li>\n<li>Analyse the profitability of the Nigerian operations by each vessel and central Service Function, eg Crewing, Maintenance, to explain the aggregated results to also confirm the accuracy of cost allocation<\/li>\n<li>Review and comment on variance between actual performance and budget and previous month with recommendations for cost improvements<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation of annual operating budget and participates in cost benchmarking<\/li>\n<li>Improve processes and controls.
