Our direct beneficiaries are children under 5 years old, pregnant women and women of child-bearing age in rural communities.<\/p>\n<p>PeachAid Medical Initiative (PMI) is recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:<\/b> Transcriber\/Transcriptionist<br \/>\n<b>Job Type:<\/b> Contract<br \/>\n<b>Location:<\/b> Abuja<br \/>\n<b>Job Field:<\/b> Research<br \/>\n<b>Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Listen to audio recordings and type up the content (e.g. discussion among focus group participants) verbatim in MS Word format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Skills <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7 Ability to type 30-40 words in per minute<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Ability to speak and understand central Hausa Language<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Ability to transcribe one hour of an audio interview in four hours.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Word Format<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 An ability to work to deadlines but without mistakes<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Good attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested candidates should please send in a CV to <b>admin@peachaid.com<\/b> before 5pm, Tuesday, 6th December, 2016, with the position applied for clearly stated in the application e-mail heading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PeachAid Medical Initiative (PMI) is a Community based humanitarian Organization, working to reduce the incidence of infant and maternal morbidity and mortality in rural communities across Nigeria.
