{"id":35585,"date":"2017-01-12T09:53:51","date_gmt":"2017-01-12T08:53:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=35585"},"modified":"2017-01-12T09:53:51","modified_gmt":"2017-01-12T08:53:51","slug":"federal-scholarship-board-bea-scholarship-20172018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/federal-scholarship-board-bea-scholarship-20172018.html","title":{"rendered":"Federal Scholarship Board BEA Scholarship 2017\/2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Federal Ministry of Education (Federal Scholarship Board &#8211; FSB) &#8211; The Honourable Minister of Education (HME), Mallam Adamu Adamu, hereby invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2017\/2018 Nomination Interview for Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Award.<br \/>\n<b>Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Award 2017\/2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThe Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship will be Awarded to:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate (UG) studies tenable in Russia, Morocco, Algeria, Serbia, Hungary, Egypt, Turkey, Cuba, Ukraine, Japan, and<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate (PG) studies tenable in Russia (for those whose first degrees were obtained from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, e.t.c.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>All qualified candidates are advised to: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit Federal Ministry of Education\u2019s website:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.education.gov.ng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.education.gov.ng<\/a> and click on &#8220;Read More&#8221; on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page:<\/li>\n<li>Read Guidelines and then Complete the Application Form online<\/li>\n<li>Print the completed Application Form<\/li>\n<li>Submit two sets of the Printed Application Forms at the venue of the interview as scheduled below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Note\/Warning:<\/b> Double Entries will be disqualified<\/p>\n<p><b>Field of Study<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate level &#8211; Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine (very limited), etc, and<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate level (Masters Degree and Ph.D) in all fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Criteria for Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A.)<\/b> <b>Undergraduate Scholarship: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of Five (5) Distinctions (As &amp; Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificate, WAEC (May\/June) only in the subjects relevant to their fields of study including English Language and Mathematics.<\/li>\n<li>Certificates should not be more than Two (2) years old (2015 &amp; 2016). Age limit is from 18 to 20 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>B.)<\/b> <b>Postgraduate Scholarship: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All applicants must hold a first Degree with at least 2nd Class Upper Division.<\/li>\n<li>The applicants who are previous recipients of Foreign Awards must have completed at least two (2) years post qualification or employment practice in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>All applicants must have completed N.Y.S.C.<\/li>\n<li>Age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Note &#8211; (For all Applicants): <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one year foreign language of the country of choice which will be the standard medium of instruction; and<\/li>\n<li>All applicants for Hungarian Scholarship must visit the website: www.stipenumhungaricum.hu before 10th February, 2017.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the application form online<\/li>\n<li>Print the completed form and bring to the venue in addition to 2.0 above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Venue of Interview<\/b><br \/>\nAll eligible applicants are to report for interview at the venues scheduled for their respective Zones of origin for proper identification.
