That\u2019s how we generate the game-changing ideas that built 19 iconic Powerbrands around the world, such as Nurofen, Strepsils, Mucinex, Dettol, Lysol, Finish and Vanish.<\/p>\n<p>Reckitt Benckiser is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Assistant Project Engineer<\/strong><b><br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/b>Agbara, Ogun State<br \/>\nJob Type: Full-time<br \/>\nDepartment: Engineering<br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists in the preparation of engineering proposals by translating identified business needs into conceptual designs and drawing up preliminary specifications to be shared with suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other Reckitt Benckiser site\u2019s on existing best practices on proposed projects and ensure that all new projects meet Reckitt Benckiser best practice.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for interfacing with the extended factory team; managing project works to ensure minimum disruption to regular site operations during projects.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for preparing overall project work schedules and networks and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly project status reports and change orders for management communication.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for project budget monitoring and trend tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all assigned personnel and contractors are coordinating their activities with other project participants ensuring overall delivery of entire project in full.<\/li>\n<li>Involved in putting together project budget costings for business decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for organizing contractor prequalification and tender exercises.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for interfacing with major 3P suppliers on designs, placement of orders and follow up on all project related orders.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for successful completion of engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safety in execution during implementation phase of projects.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in contractor meetings and resolving interface issues between contractors on project issues.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of contracts are satisfied in full by all contractors and suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum B.Eng or HND in any field of engineering from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years project management experience in a , preferably in an FMCG<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in the use AutoCAD.<\/li>\n<li>MSc in project management will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of construction and safety management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Core Competencies &amp; Skills: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication and interpersonal relations<\/li>\n<li>Finance and budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating and networking<\/li>\n<li>Good judgement and analytical ability<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness<\/li>\n<li>Good and quick decision making<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organising<\/li>\n<li>Relationship management.<\/li>\n<li>Stress management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Functional Competencies: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project management<\/li>\n<li>Construction safety management<\/li>\n<li>Cost and budget Control.<\/li>\n<li>Good manufacturing practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV&#8217;s to: <b>Gloria.george@rb.com<\/b> with the relevant position applied for as heading<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline\u00a0 <\/b>18th January 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reckitt Benckiser is the world&#8217;s leading consumer health and hygiene company.
