AFENET is dedicated to helping ministries of Health in Africa build strong, effective, and sustainable programs with capacity to improve public health systems partnering with global public health experts.<\/p>\n<p>In view of this, AFENET is supporting the NAIS secretariat in Nasarawa state to recruit the following positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: <\/strong><strong>Technical Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Nasarawa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe responsibilities of the NAIS Technical Officer include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide support to the NAIS secretariat in the planning, coordination, conduct and documentation of NAIS related activities.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will support the day-to-day operations of the NAIS secretariat on NAIS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the day-to-day activities in NAIS secretariat<\/li>\n<li>Support the NAIS survey related activities<\/li>\n<li>Support the NAIS secretariat in actively liaising with all stakeholders and implementing partners<\/li>\n<li>Support the NAIS secretariat in documentation of survey related activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in timely retrieval of any completed hard copy questionnaires, incident forms, requisite forms<\/li>\n<li>Full participation in all technical meetings including submission of reports, recording of meeting minute<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to work weekends<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to travel to enumeration areas when needed<\/li>\n<li>Work with the data management team to ensure success of the data collection procedures for the NAIS<\/li>\n<li>Support dissemination of survey results including production of charts, maps, presentations and technical briefs\/fact sheets on the outcome of the survey<\/li>\n<li>Support NAIS secretariat in survey related activities<\/li>\n<li>Work with the TC to ensure the prompt day to day running of NAIS conduct, following the agreed timeline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive weekly report of survey processes and proceedings<\/li>\n<li>Reports of all NAIS related activities<\/li>\n<li>Central-level training planning, implementation and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Presentation slides for dissemination of survey findings<\/li>\n<li>Trip reports (for trips made during the contract period)<\/li>\n<li>Log of activities related to contract implementation<\/li>\n<li>Documentation of lessons learnt during the survey period<\/li>\n<li>End-of-survey report &#8211;
