Leventis.\u00a0 The new company, although established at the height of the depression, expanded rapidly, and soon had branches in all parts of the Gold Coast.\u00a0 By the time of A.G.<br \/>\nLeventis\u2019 death in 1978, it had become one of the largest enterprises &#8211; and one of the two largest employers &#8211; in Nigeria, and poised to expand into other parts of the world.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Contract Sales Executive<\/strong> <b><br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Lagos<br \/>\nIndustry: Automobile<b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in achieving sales targets for major items (i.e. Commercial Buses). Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within Lagos and its environ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To achieve sales target for buses.<\/li>\n<li>To position Volkswagen Buses in the Nigerian market and other Buses of our brand.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory\/market segment to generate new business for sales of Volkswagen Buses and other Buses of our brand<\/li>\n<li>Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes the territory\/market&#8217;s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer&#8217;s value to the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualification and Key Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OND\/HND\/B.Sc in Sales and Marketing or any related degree<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years&#8217; experience (Specialization in Sales of Buses will be preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Product knowledge &amp; skills to handle technical problems, warranty issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assess customer needs and determine what products or services would best serve their interest<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant\/Credit Controller<\/strong><b><br \/>\nLocation: Lagos<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing a comprehensive. accurate and timely accounting service which will enhance the position of the company and coordinating the debts of existing creditors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness in conformance to reporting &amp; procedural standard &amp; also to ascertain daily liquid position of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze business operations trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and Obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.<\/li>\n<li>Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating re-payment plans &amp; maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment<\/li>\n<li>Resolving queries, both Internally and externally around outstanding invoices<\/li>\n<li>Daily reconciliation with sales team on products lifted on Sales Managers Account<\/li>\n<li>Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and also, secures financial information by completing data base backups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Key Competence<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc or HND in Accounting or Finance with minimum of second class lower division<\/li>\n<li>from a reputable institution, plus minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Food<\/li>\n<li>processing industry<\/li>\n<li>A member of ACCA or ACA is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented Reporting Research Resu1t<\/li>\n<li>Confidentiality, Time Management and Good Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Navision Exp System and must have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Branch Manager<\/strong> <b><br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Benin<br \/>\nIndustry: Automobile<b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Objective<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for achieving the branch targets for major items (i.e. commercial vehicle &amp; construction equipment) and after sales (i.e. service, tyres &amp; spare parts). Also to manage human resources in the branch.<\/li>\n<li>The purpose of a branch manager is to develop and maintain branch business to their full potential and to ensure profitability by setting and achieving\/exceeding targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase branch profitability by achieving \/ exceeding monthly targets for Major items\/Spare Parts and Service<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the branch activities and establish individual targets within branch objectives<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all quality and operational standards are maintained at the company&#8217;s expectations and implement new procedures, according to requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop market for new business lines &#8211; Major items and others<\/li>\n<li>Develop rapport with Key corporate customers, financiers and government agencies<\/li>\n<li>Track and measure performance culture of staff<\/li>\n<li>Build team at the branch level for achieving the Organizational goals<\/li>\n<li>Manage sales, after sales (workshops), spare parts and act as human resources manager at the branch<\/li>\n<li>Submit monthly updated activity status report to the Head of Sales for discussion and for the preparation of action plan and RRI&#8217;s (Rapid Results Initiatives)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualification and Key Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND\/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with an MBA<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years strong Engineering experience (Specialization in Commercial Vehicles will be preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skill and team spirit.<\/li>\n<li>Product knowledge &amp; skills to handle technical problems, warranty issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assess customer needs and determine what products or services would best serve their interest<\/li>\n<li>Ability to guide &amp; train others.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nHow To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their applications to: <b>recruitment@agleventis.com<\/b> using the job title and location as subject matter eg- Branch Manager-Benin<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/b>14th March, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A.G.
