{"id":36446,"date":"2017-03-16T10:45:42","date_gmt":"2017-03-16T09:45:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=36446"},"modified":"2017-03-16T10:45:42","modified_gmt":"2017-03-16T09:45:42","slug":"michael-stevens-consulting-vacancies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/michael-stevens-consulting-vacancies.html","title":{"rendered":"Michael Stevens Consulting Vacancies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Michael Stevens Consulting &#8211; We are a long established and well respected multi-disciplinary management and financial consulting firm with offices in several locations across Nigeria.<br \/>\nWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Business Analyst (Entry Level)<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location<\/b>: Lagos<br \/>\n<b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a qualified Business Analyst to help our clients improve their day-to-day operations, marketing\/sales, people management and financial management challenges.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be expected to have a broad sense of the many facets of business, marketing and project management.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>The Business Analyst will be required to assist project leads undertake projects on behalf of the client&#8217;s business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with engagement leads to organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients (business process improvement, business plan writing, marketing planning, recruiting, payroll, promotional campaigns etc.) according to client&#8217;s requirements<\/li>\n<li>Work with business consultants in identifying issues, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions, and helping to implement change.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute research plans and activities<\/li>\n<li>Develop reports and presentation slides as assigned by engagement leads and superiors<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We seek highly motivated people with outstanding academic credentials, minimum of a B.Sc.\/ B.A Degree, First-Class or Second Class Upper division in any discipline.<\/li>\n<li>At least 0-1 year of working experience in any industry but must have completed NYSC.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and self-confidence.<\/li>\n<li>A strong record of extracurricular activity and leadership. Prior part-time business experience in jobs requiring analytical or problem-solving work is helpful, and an aptitude for numbers and analysis is important.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Business Consultant<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location:<\/b> Lagos<br \/>\n<b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a qualified and experienced Business Consultant to help our clients improve their day-to-day operations, marketing\/sales, people management and financial management challenges.<\/li>\n<li>The Business Consultant will play an important role to every client organization that needs change and improvement in the mentioned areas of his\/her business.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be expected to have a broad knowledge of the many facets of business, market forces and project management.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving skills to provide solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will also be required to undertake projects on behalf of the client\u2019s business when it lacks resources or motive to perform them in-house.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients (business process improvement, business plan writing, marketing planning, recruiting, payroll, promotional campaigns etc.) according to client\u2019s requirements<\/li>\n<li>Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situation<\/li>\n<li>Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client\u2019s wishes, capabilities and limitations<\/li>\n<li>Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice<\/li>\n<li>Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes<\/li>\n<li>Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues<\/li>\n<li>Collect information about the client\u2019s business through a variety of methods (meetings, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the root causes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree with 2:1 in relevant fields; MBA will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>6 &#8211; 8 years proven experience as business consultant<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of diverse business matters such as Finance\/Accounting, Marketing\/Sales, Human Resources, Business Operations and Technology.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop Business Plan and Feasibility Studies<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude in creative problem-solving<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office &#8211; Word, Excel, PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their applications to: <b>jobs@michaelstevens-consulting.com<\/b> quoting the job position as the title of your e-mail.<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline: <\/b>31st March, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael Stevens Consulting &#8211; We are a long established and well respected multi-disciplinary management and financial consulting firm with offices in several locations across Nigeria.
