Exporting to 101 countries, the holding is taking confident steps towards becoming a regional leader.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Import &amp; Export Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Job Scope<\/b><br \/>\nImport-export specialists have many duties. Primarily, they document shipments to ensure that they are in compliance with customs rules and regulations. Import-export specialists also counsel clients on matters like tariffs, insurance, and quotas. They categorize shipments according to a tariff coding system. This position also requires consulting with customs agents to ease passage of shipments through customs. Import-export specialists also counsel their clients how to reduce duties and taxes owed.<br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Specific Responsibilities <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaising with the Warehouse, Sales and other relevant departments to determine items to order.<\/li>\n<li>Request for Proforma Invoices from Overseas Suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Processing of Overseas Purchase orders<\/li>\n<li>Placing of orders with Suppliers from overseas<\/li>\n<li>Processing of Proforma Invoices and IDF application<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Marine Insurance Covers<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Stock Control on Preparation of GRN<\/li>\n<li>Filing and keeping records of all imports documents<\/li>\n<li>Updating of imports register and emailing consignments status reports to the Supply Chain Manager., Warehouse and Sales Department.<\/li>\n<li>Export Documents Preparation when requested by clients<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs<\/li>\n<li>Expediting inspection of goods received<\/li>\n<li>Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, over supplied and faulty items received and taking the necessary action<\/li>\n<li>Processing of payments for Suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Letters of Credit<\/li>\n<li>Expediting\/routine follow up on status of goods to ensure that suppliers meet delivery promises<\/li>\n<li>Tracking of incoming shipments<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs<\/li>\n<li>Expediting inspection of goods received<\/li>\n<li>Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, oversupplied and faulty items received and taking the necessary action<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty that may be assigned by the Supply Chain Manager or Import\/Export Chief<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Requirement: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational Qualification: B.Sc in any science related field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience: Min. 5 years with FMCG background (added advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Computer-based knowledge with ERP(SAGE, SAP etc) &amp; Advanced in Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Learning &amp; Development Chief<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Details:<br \/>\nJob Profile:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.<\/li>\n<li>ensure that statutory training requirements are met<\/li>\n<li>have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and\/or delivery of e-learning packages<\/li>\n<li>help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in the group<\/li>\n<li>work in a team to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation, such as line managers, accountants and senior managers at board level<\/li>\n<li>consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development programme is becoming increasingly important<\/li>\n<li>devise individual learning plans<\/li>\n<li>produce training materials for in-house courses<\/li>\n<li>monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills &amp; Competencies:<br \/>\nPresentation skill<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpersonal &amp; Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Use of Microsoft office application &amp; ERP (e.g. Excel, SAGE, Microsoft NAV etc)<\/li>\n<li>Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving &amp; negotiation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirement: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience &#8211; Min. 5 years working experience in HR function with FMCG Background, Business partnering (added advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Educational Qualification First degree in a reputable University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified applicants should forward their cvs to <b>nigeriahr@hayat.ng<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 1937, Hayat Holding is a leading Turkish enterprise with a highly successful track record.
