The centre will serve as a safe, accessible and confidential environment that will facilitate psychological and psychosocial support, promote the restoration of community networks and coping mechanisms, and enhance emotional assistance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Clinical Psychologists<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location:<\/b> Abuja<br \/>\n<b>Job functions: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides a full range of psychological services to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Consults with other professionals, regarding the evaluation and treatment of clients.<\/li>\n<li>Provides psychological assessment, testing, and evaluation, referral, consultation, programme planning, chemical dependency counselling\/education, prevention service\/activities, individual, couples, group and family therapy.<\/li>\n<li>Interact with clients to provide assessment, testing, diagnosis treatment, case management, follow up and treatment planning, with physicians to provide consultation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates and cooperates in a professional manner with co-workers, other departments and other agencies in order to assure effective continuity of care and services.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and maintains mental health notes and narrative reports of mental health activities (in the appropriate charting format).<\/li>\n<li>Maintain clients\u2019 records, as part of the Medical records system and follows policies of records and maintenance of client confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Observes strict confidentiality and privacy of clients.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Requirements <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous training or experience with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Professional, expert knowledge of psychological theories, principles.<\/li>\n<li>Able to participate in evaluation, diagnosis, individual, group and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention, consultation, prevention and research such as would be obtained in a doctoral program in psychology and in a clinical internship practice.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with children of all ages.<\/li>\n<li>High degree of skill in the psychological assessment and evaluation of children and youth.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Women are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nApplication and Resume should be sent as one document to <b>thesanctuaryabuja@gmail.com<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:<\/b> Friday 21st of April.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Neem Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental, conflict prevention and peace-building organisation established as a direct response to the problem of insecurity in Nigeria, is seeking clinical psychologists that will join our&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10155,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[33],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
