This involves accurately forecasting trends, planning stock levels and monitoring performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the sales of this new start-up. We\u2019re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who wants to be part of a key growth business channel and plays a key role as profits can be affected by how successfully they undertake their work. The M&amp;B Executive also sets prices to maximise profits and manage the performance of ranges, planning promotions and markdowns as necessary, and oversees delivery and distribution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans;<\/li>\n<li>liaising face to face or over the phone with customers, suppliers and distributors;<\/li>\n<li>maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data;<\/li>\n<li>overseeing and working closely with tailors to ensure timelines are met;<\/li>\n<li>working closely with IT staff to decide how goods should be displayed online to maximise sales;<\/li>\n<li>digital marketing;<\/li>\n<li>forecasting profits and sales, and optimising the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas;<\/li>\n<li>planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges;<\/li>\n<li>manage operational challenges, provide escalation management, influence and balance business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize ROI while providing a great customer experience;<\/li>\n<li>merchandise the company website and make it easy for customers to find, browse and buy products, services and content on site; Identify opportunities to improve site layout, look and feel, content, efficiency and automation and work cross-functionally to implement them;<\/li>\n<li>create, plan and schedule site merchandising campaigns including new content launches and promotional campaigns;<\/li>\n<li>partner with photography studio, content and buying colleagues to craft and execute promotional events, site merchandising campaigns and bespoke launches;<\/li>\n<li>develop and customise email campaigns to acquire, grow and retain customers;<\/li>\n<li>controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season;<\/li>\n<li>using specialist computer software, for example to handle sales statistics, produce sales projections and present spreadsheets and graphs;<\/li>\n<li>analysing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential; monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary; gathering information on customers&#8217; reactions to products; analysing the previous season&#8217;s sales and reporting on the current season&#8217;s lines;<\/li>\n<li>maintaining awareness of competitors&#8217; performance;<\/li>\n<li>making financial presentations to management;<\/li>\n<li>meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing timescales and delivery dates and completing the necessary paperwork;<\/li>\n<li>identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be Female<\/li>\n<li>Candidates for this position must possess minimum of a degree in a related discipline (graduate in fashion is desirable)<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must have at least 2 years relevant and demonstrable previous experience in relevant role<\/li>\n<li>Must be passionate about fashion, vibrant personality and self driven<\/li>\n<li>Must have knowledge of Fabrics<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to take measurements<\/li>\n<li>Sketching skills are preferable<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be able to work independently and confidently<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written English and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills, particularly in managing time and tasks<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate with at intermediate experience of the Microsoft suite of programs, particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Must have digital marketing experience (digital marketing certification preferable)<\/li>\n<li>Social media savvy<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in managing data, spreadsheets and producing reports, KPIs and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of leading by example in delivering a high level of customer service individually and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method of Application <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified persons should apply for this job by emailing the following by 10<sup>th<\/sup> May 2017 to <a href=\"mailto:andorfr@yahoo.com\">andorfr@yahoo.com<\/a> :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>their CV, and<\/li>\n<li>a detailed Covering Letter stating why they are right for the position<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Ecommerce fashion company located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State is looking to hire a female Merchandising &amp; Buying Executive (\u201cM&amp;B Executive\u201d).
