It\u2019s an on trade dominated market but with a fast growing off trade channel.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Job Title: Shift Manager, Packaging<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>AutoReqId: <\/b>56279BR<br \/>\n<b>Location: <\/b>Lagos<br \/>\n<b>Level: <\/b>L5 (M2)<br \/>\n<b>Reports To:<\/b> Packaging Manager<br \/>\n<b>Top 3-5 Accountabilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise, prioritise and coordinate all activities of shift team\u00a0 with best possible efficiencies and optimum KPI\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Develop &amp; deliver improved performance against targets through effective problem solving, , planned activity with Manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Lead implementation of the company\u2019s health, safety, quality, environment and hygiene standards<\/li>\n<li>Control cost of packaging by minimising process waste, maximising efficiencies and taking appropriate actions to reduce downtime and improve quality.<\/li>\n<li>Manage team\u2019s individual training &amp; development within clear improvement plans,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Barriers to Success in Role<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skill set and training levels of team members.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop, coach or motivate employees effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Packaging needs not fulfilled, or machinery may not operate efficiently, increasing cost to the company.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to solve problems effectively and make quick decisions, affects efficiencies, quality and cost.<\/li>\n<li>If work rules are not adhered to, there is increased opportunity for workplace injury to employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sjobs.brassring.com\/tgwebhost\/jobdetails.aspx?jobId=2482446&amp;PartnerId=11729&amp;SiteId=208&amp;type=mail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><b>Click here to apply<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guinness Nigeria Plc is a major market for Diageo: Guinness Nigeria operates in the unique and fast growing alcohol industry of over 15mhl beer potential.
