Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Technical Competencies: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to write well designed and efficient code<\/li>\n<li>Profound insights into Java JEE internals (Classloading, Multithreading Memory management, Transaction management, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns and frameworks (spring, hibernate etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of established software development lifecycles<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of building web services and other enterprise Java-based SOA frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Design and develop features and functionalities<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with APIs and service oriented architectures<\/li>\n<li>Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with agile technologies and tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Behavioral Competencies: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with a strong work ethic<\/li>\n<li>Adaptable and flexible when new tasks or projects are assigned<\/li>\n<li>Ability to listen patiently and learn from others<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic when embracing new challenges<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and demeanor<\/li>\n<li>Able to multi-task and prioritize (good time-management skills)<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to teach and help others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: <\/b><b><\/b>Junior Software Developer (J2EE)<b><br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Lagos<b><br \/>\nReporting To:<\/b> Enterprise Application Developer (Team Lead)<b><br \/>\nRole Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Junior Software Developer will work under the supervision of the Team Lead, Enterprise Application Development and will be accountable for developing and maintaining key modules of Integrated Software Solutions that deliver true business value.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent must be familiar with Java programming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in a team of software developers to carry out ongoing customization of the company\u2019s integrated application system as well development of other web-based applications to support business processes and functions<\/li>\n<li>Deliver excellent code quality in a collaborative team environment, typically working in small development project groups<\/li>\n<li>Communicate as required with internal and external stakeholders within the company, to capture requirements and troubleshoot issues relating to development and support<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other members of the software development team to collaborate on, and continuously improve the technical capabilities, processes and knowledge of the development team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc.
