Passion, excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and rejecting the status quo are just a few of the things that Andela team members have in common.<\/p>\n<p>We have a vision to train 100,000 world-class developers in the next 10 years and we want you to help make it happen<br \/>\nWe are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Software Development Learning Facilitator<\/strong><b><br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Lagos<br \/>\n<b>Type:<\/b> Full Time<br \/>\n<b>Experience: <\/b>Junior-Mid Level<br \/>\n<b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Software Development Learning Facilitator is charged with helping the next generation of African technology leaders gain the skills to be globally employable software developers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\nThe specific responsibilities of the Software Development Learning Facilitator will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentoring aspiring software developers<\/li>\n<li>Delivering actionable feedback and watch people improve based on your input<\/li>\n<li>Tracking and measuring skill development using Andela\u2019s unique learning systems<\/li>\n<li>Continuously levelling up your own skills and grow with the organization<\/li>\n<li>Running simulated software development team sprints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Experience with one or more of the following: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional Software Development (ex: Web development in JS, Python, Ruby, etc. or Mobile Development in Android or iOS)<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship or Coaching in Software Engineering\/Development<\/li>\n<li>EPIC Values alignment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable commitment to the learning &amp; drive processes to achieve it<\/li>\n<li>Handle ISP &amp; vendor relationships<\/li>\n<li>Setup and configure network for new offices throughout Africa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all aspects of Andela\u2019s IT Services including:\n<ul>\n<li>Establishing IT policies, procedures and standards for our global locations to ensure consistency, security and maintainability of all IT services<\/li>\n<li>Establish and monitor SLAs for providing services to the org.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the IT steering committee ensuring compliance with standards and audit requirements<\/li>\n<li>Operationalize IT Helpdesk systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Own Andela\u2019s IT Security and Policy strategy:\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring compliance<\/li>\n<li>Identifying gaps; creating and executing plans to cover them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Manage and grow a team of IT professionals:\n<ul>\n<li>Mentoring and growing their potential<\/li>\n<li>Setting expectations and facilitating their impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Set hardware &amp; software standards for all of Andela<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What Makes You a Great Fit for this Role<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience running an IT services organization across multiple countries<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SOC II Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Experience with provisioning and deploying a large scale Mac environment<\/li>\n<li>2-5+ years of operational or project management experience at a software company<\/li>\n<li>Consensus-builder;
