{"id":37600,"date":"2017-05-18T10:46:29","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T09:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=37600"},"modified":"2017-05-18T10:46:29","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T09:46:29","slug":"ibadan-electricity-distribution-company-ibedc-plc-graduate-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ibadan-electricity-distribution-company-ibedc-plc-graduate-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Plc Graduate Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Plc &#8211; Headquartered in Ibadan is responsible for electricity distribution within the south western zone (Oyo, Ogun, Osun and kwara as well as some parts of Kogi, Ekiti and Niger states).<\/p>\n<p>We are an organization with a focus on delivering excellent service to the customers and providing customer satisfaction through reliable power distributions.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Customer Relations Officer<\/strong><b><br \/>\nLocation:<\/b> Ibadan <b><br \/>\nJob Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To effectively coordinate the distribution of IBEDC\u2019s customer bills and facilitate revenue collection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\n<b>General:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meter reading and management of meter reading books<\/li>\n<li>Handling of service connection like application<\/li>\n<li>Detecting illegal service connection<\/li>\n<li>Pursuing the collection of bad debts<\/li>\n<li>Disconnection\/ reconnection<\/li>\n<li>Explaining estimated billings<\/li>\n<li>Explaining sensitive issues such as tariff changes<\/li>\n<li>Reporting faulty\/ defective meters<\/li>\n<li>Legalizing non-registered consumers<\/li>\n<li>Disseminating load shedding schedules<\/li>\n<li>Other commercial functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Specific: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Embarks on field trips to read customer meters for capture on approved billing\/reading sheets and liaises with relevant departments to generate customer bills<\/li>\n<li>Distributes customer bills within required timeframe &#8211; ensures timely and effective distribution of customer bills<\/li>\n<li>Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers to ensure high customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Identifies prospective customers (unregistered customers, new businesses, etc.) and ensures they are adequately captured in the customer database<\/li>\n<li>Attends to customer queries\/complaints on the field and escalates to proper channels to ensure such complaints are captured and addressed accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Assist in meeting revenue targets for Business hubs &#8211; participates in revenue collection activities according to company policies and stipulated regulations to meet set revenue targets<\/li>\n<li>Escalates revenue leakage issues to the relevant departments when identified e.g. illegal connections, tampering of meters, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps abreast of market trends and supplies management with insights on customer needs, problems, interests and innovative ways for service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Get customers both old and new on metering including the CAPMI scheme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Requirements<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Educational Qualification: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good Bachelor\/OND or equivalent in any field.
