Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.<\/li>\n<li>Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Works towards an allocated License as well as Cloud\/SaaS Sales Revenue target.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to Sales Director Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Has no direct reports, but leads the activities of virtual teams in support of customers<\/li>\n<li>Works in a designated industry on a defined customer list and cooperates with his Technology Sales Representative counterpart as well as Senior Apps Account Manager<\/li>\n<li>Works to identify and cover all organisations (including existing Oracle customers) that fall into their designated account list focusing on building a strong pipeline and closing opportunities in a timely fashion in Gulf region.<\/li>\n<li>Works with appropriate Oracle Partners, i.e. resellers, SI&#8217;s, ISV&#8217;s, technology partners and alliances<\/li>\n<li>Works with Pre Sales, Marketing and other Lines of Business (LOBs) to maximize the return form the assigned set of accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winning new ERP\/CRM\/HCM license and cloud\/SaaS sales revenue in line with targets<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle<\/li>\n<li>Developing a strategy and sales plan to address Sector requirements<\/li>\n<li>Developing profiles of targeted accounts<\/li>\n<li>Defining appropriate Enterprise Sales Industry Value Propositions for ERP\/CRM\/HCM solutions<\/li>\n<li>Driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Generating and following up on leads<\/li>\n<li>Qualifying leads and prioritising opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Marshalling internal and Partner resources to conduct campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and working with the appropriate people in Oracle and the Customer<\/li>\n<li>Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle<\/li>\n<li>Working with, and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining an understanding of Oracle&#8217;s strategic direction and interpreting its relevance to the industry sector<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining an awareness of Oracle&#8217;s current and future application\/technology products and services<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity relevant to industry sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Detailed Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts\/non-named accounts\/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).<\/li>\n<li>Primary job duty is to sell business applications software\/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers.<\/li>\n<li>Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.<\/li>\n<li>Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.<\/li>\n<li>Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical\/business skills in area of specialization.<\/li>\n<li>8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Oracle knowledge and\/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players.<\/li>\n<li>Team player with strong interpersonal \/communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication\/negotiating\/closing skills with prospects\/customers.<\/li>\n<li>Travel may be needed.
