Our services and facilities are tailored to provide the best of comfort and pampering.We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Job Title:<\/b> <strong>Sous Chef<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location<\/b>: Nigeria<b><br \/>\nPosition Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AUN Hotel is seeking for a permanent Sous Chef.<\/li>\n<li>This position is a local one and opens to indigenous and\/or legal residents of Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>The Souse Chef shall employ his culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing customers\u2019 satisfaction at the AUN Hotel and Club in line with established standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Detailed Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To delegates job responsibilities in the kitchen.<\/li>\n<li>To support Executive Chef in kitchen administration and operation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to instruct cooks and teach on culinary arts.<\/li>\n<li>Design task schedules for kitchen staff and ensure safety.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation<\/li>\n<li>Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff\u2019s performance<\/li>\n<li>Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately<\/li>\n<li>Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards<\/li>\n<li>Ensure food are prepared in safe, hygienic and healthy environment.<\/li>\n<li>Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus<\/li>\n<li>Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements for the Position<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma from a reputable institution.<\/li>\n<li>Good command of English language.<\/li>\n<li>Age 30 to 45 years old<\/li>\n<li>Smart and energetic personality<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) years\u2019 experience in 3 to 4 star hotel as a head cook or sous chef.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Other Requirements, Abilities for the Position: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creativity and knowledge of ingredients in the kitchen for 4 star hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills.
