{"id":38203,"date":"2017-06-07T15:38:51","date_gmt":"2017-06-07T14:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=38203"},"modified":"2017-06-07T15:48:42","modified_gmt":"2017-06-07T14:48:42","slug":"co-creation-hub-nigeria-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/co-creation-hub-nigeria-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Co-creation Hub Nigeria Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Co-creation Hub Nigeria is a social enterprise committed to bringing together stakeholders from different walks of life to work collaboratively on solutions to social challenges facing the Nigerian society.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: <\/b><strong>Practice Lead, GovLab<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location<\/b>: Lagos<b><br \/>\nJob Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Co-Creation Hub seeks an experienced individual with strong working knowledge of the Nigerian public sector to join our team to lead our GovLab Practice geared to support the development and roll out of initiatives to improve public service delivery, citizen engagement &amp; social accountability in Nigeria through the smart application of technology.<\/li>\n<li>The GovLab Lead will be CcHUB\u2019s primary interface for government agencies, civil society and social innovators looking to improve the way citizens\u2019 needs are met in Nigeria using technology.<\/li>\n<li>Specific areas of interest in the Governance space include public service delivery, open government, open data, extractive industries transparency &amp; local government efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>This position requires a team player with leadership qualities, excellent marketing skills, a professional and positive attitude, organization and dependability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Your responsibilities shall include the following: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify critical governance priorities for the unit &amp; initiate activities to stimulate solutions around the priority areas<\/li>\n<li>To plan, launch and manage innovation initiatives to deliver products to be utilised by government agencies, civil society &amp; citizens to improve public service delivery &amp; social accountability in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical insights &amp; networking support to governance ventures incubated at the CcHUB<\/li>\n<li>Develop a mentor network for the practice across the public sector &amp; civil society and work with them to support incubated ventures<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identify engage &amp; manage new partners with government, CSOs and donor agencies<\/li>\n<li>Lead in developing proposals for new governance projects to local and international funding organisations<\/li>\n<li>Research key governance issues to identify critical leverage areas around which GovLab should engage stakeholders and citizens<\/li>\n<li>Manage research &amp; insights that drive solutions for the practice &amp; its clients especially government agencies, civil society organisations &amp; the general public<\/li>\n<li>Overall planning of activities, resources , budgets and operations of the practice<\/li>\n<li>Work in coordination with senior management to set up a seed fund for governance ventures<\/li>\n<li>Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Our ideal candidate will have: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A solid understanding of the Nigerian public sector with relationships to academia, government agencies, civil society, start-ups and the development partner community<\/li>\n<li>A robust analytical skill set<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft applications<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s or Masters&#8217; Degree from an accredited University<\/li>\n<li>Experience in civil society, a start\u00adup or other business environment<\/li>\n<li>An entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV&#8217;s and cover letters to: <b>careers@cchubnigeria.com<\/b> with the subject \u2018GovLab Lead\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Co-creation Hub Nigeria is a social enterprise committed to bringing together stakeholders from different walks of life to work collaboratively on solutions to social challenges facing the Nigerian society.
