It has been vested with the responsibility of implementing Lagos AIDS Indicator Survey (LAGAIS) in the State. In view of this, AFENET is recruiting men and women with field work experience to gather the Lagos data across the 20 Local Government Areas of Lagos State.<\/p>\n<p>AFENET is seeking the services of candidates to fill the position below for the National Stop Transmission of Poliomyelitis (NSTOP) program:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location:<\/b> Abuja<br \/>\nDuration of contract: One year<br \/>\nWork Hours: Full time<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThe responsibilities of a Monitoring &amp; Evaluation Officer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the design and implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp;E) function for the NSTOP including monitoring progress towards achievement its objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical input into monitoring and evaluation components of funding and project proposals<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance on evaluation design, reports, including for funding agreements\/project reports<\/li>\n<li>Foster reflection and dialogue on the evaluation process and outcomes both within the organization and with key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and skills in monitoring and evaluation methodology, including ability to develop\/interpret a logic model and an evaluation plan<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design monitoring and evaluation activities for public health programs or projects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize and communicate with, staff from many organizations to work
