MSION is part of Marie Stopes International\u2019s Global Partnership which is in over 40 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Advisor<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nReference: 2055<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Location<\/strong>: Nigeria<br \/>\nFunction: Operations<br \/>\nContract Type: Fixed Term<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The primary responsibility of this role is to further MSI\u2019s Goal \u2013 \u201cThe Prevention of Unwanted Births\u201d and its mission of ensuring the individual\u2019s right to \u2013 \u201cChildren by Choice Not Chance\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>of Contract: This will be a local Nigerian contract for a period of 2 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION) as a partner organisation with MSI with high expectations for significant contributions to MSI\u2019s achievement of the 2020 strategy \u201cScaling Up Excellence\u201d. This position will support the MSION Country Director, Programmes Director and the entire Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure the organisation puts the client at the centre of service delivery while achieving scale and impact, quality and a sustainable service delivery model.<\/li>\n<li>MSION seeks a Senior Advisor, who in close collaboration with the Nigeria Regional Programme Offer (RPO) and Regional Finance Advisor (RFA) \u2013 based in the MSI London Support office \u2013 will support the MSION Programmes Director to maintain focus on:\n<ul>\n<li>Achieving results at MSION;<\/li>\n<li>Improving and enhancing MSION\u2019s ability to effectively manage the project cycle (including donor reporting and donor compliance);<\/li>\n<li>Embedding the use of data and analysis for strategic decision-making;<\/li>\n<li>Continuing to implement necessary organizational change; and<\/li>\n<li>Generating additional funding for MSION.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In addition, the position with provide overall support to the Country Director and his\/her SMT in leading and managing change across departments them to access and using MSI\u2019s \u2018Global Goods\u2019 and technical assistance.<\/li>\n<li>This post is being offered as a 2 year fixed term contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nTo succeed in this role, you must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong cross-functional management experience preferably in a developing country context<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in leading organisational change<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with MIS systems, excel in data analysis, ability to generate graphs and reports from raw data<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in Marie Stopes Systems and processes<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in grant management\/project finance management<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of donor regulations, policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of reproductive health care<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success in raising funds from bilateral donors, including leading on proposal processes and building donor relationships<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience developing and implementing new organizational systems and processes<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working in a social business, preferably social marketing of sexual and reproductive health commodities<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in coaching<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated facilitation skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary <\/strong><br \/>\nCompetitive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.mariestopes.org.uk\/vacancy\/senior-advisor-nigeria---1224-mths-318815.html#utm_source=reliefweb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0 <\/strong> 9th July, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marie Stopes International is a Social Business, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide reproductive health care and allied services.
