Our people work side by side with local partners to support stability, economic growth and good governance, positively changing people\u2019s lives.We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance and Administration Manager<\/strong><br \/>\nJob No:\u00a0 495363<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\nWork type: Contract<br \/>\nDuration: 4 years<br \/>\nCategories: International development<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coffey, in partnership with McKinsey, is looking for a Finance and Administration Manager for the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF III)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NIAF III is a four year DFID-funded programme starting in 2018. Building on the success of the two earlier phases of the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (2007-2016), NIAF III will provide high quality embedded and short-term expertise to Nigerian government and regulatory counterparts to support improved delivery of infrastructure services.<\/li>\n<li>The core team will be based in Abuja, with travel to other Nigerian states as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for setting financial and administrative operations for the programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure contracts, payments and deliverables are met on time<\/li>\n<li>Manage office and programme financial resources while exercising proper financial controls and adhering to both DFID and McKinsey policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Profile income and expenditure and analyse monthly\/quarterly reports<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Monitor income reconciliations for core business areas and ensure these are done in a timely and accurate manner<\/li>\n<li>Partner with project teams to provide guidance and support on budget management and other analysis<\/li>\n<li>Preparing financial reports and presentations at regular intervals as per requirements of senior management<\/li>\n<li>Maintain oversight of procurement activities as needed<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and support to the core business areas in relation to financial operations management, banking operations and monthly financial analysis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial compliance and accuracy of financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Ensure efficient management of financial operations and month\/year end activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge, skills, excellence in accounting, financial management, human resources, procurement, and other management support functions as needed<\/li>\n<li>Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage large budgets and client expectations<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills required for working with project staff, donors and beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of DFID and other donors\u2019 financial reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English required<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree with more than 10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field can be substituted for a Master\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in administrative and financial management of large-scale, complex, international and donor-funded programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.coffey.com\/mob\/cw\/en\/job\/495363\/finance-and-administration-manager-abuja-nigeria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>12th July, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coffey International Development has a 40 year history in successfully delivering international development projects on behalf of donors right around the world, including Australia\u2019s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade,&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[28],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
