With joining MainOne you\u2019ll be challenged, inspired and proud as you become a part of something big.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0IT Service Desk Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos, Nigeria.<br \/>\nDepartment: Information Technology<br \/>\nReporting Line: IT Technical Support Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Service Desk Supervisor\u2019s role is to ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance. This includes the responsibility of managing all procedures related to identification, prioritization and resolution of incidents, including the monitoring, tracking and coordination of Service Desk functions.<\/li>\n<li>The Service Desk Supervisor is also responsible for planning, designing, and analyzing the organization\u2019s service desk according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of customer service quality and availability.<\/li>\n<li>This individual will recommend, develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent service levels and quick resolutions.<\/li>\n<li>The Service Desk Supervisor is also responsible for service process design, performance analysis, and developing proactive resolution plans.<\/li>\n<li>The Service Desk Supervisor will also contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users where necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operational Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the processing of incoming calls to the Service Desk via both telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and enforce request handling and escalation policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Track and analyze trends in Help Desk requests and generate statistical reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assess need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) based on request trends and make recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, recommend, develop and implement end user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee development and communication of help sheets, usage guides and FAQs for end users.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the development, implementation and administration of service desk staff training procedures and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Train, coach and mentor Service Desk Technicians and other junior staff.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the overall desk activities and staff.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Attend Change Advisor Board (CAB) meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor incident trends and anticipate potential problems for proactive resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills\u00a0 &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc.\/HND in the field of computer science<\/li>\n<li>3+ years\u2019 work experience in IT service desk and support<\/li>\n<li>Certification in ITIL V3, MCSE\/MCSA<\/li>\n<li>Extensive application support experience in<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, including troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including [\u2026].<\/li>\n<li>Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Win7,8.1, Windows 2008 server etc.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the advanced principles of ITIL, ITSM<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of developing and providing SLAs and Service Desk deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated progressive experience in the management of a technical support team.<\/li>\n<li>Understands OSI model and has knowledge of TCP\/IP<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and SharePoint platform<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demand on the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid relationship management and performance management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to motivate and direct staff members and subordinates.<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.<\/li>\n<li>Highly self-motivated and directed.<\/li>\n<li>Keen attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Coordinator (Special Projects\/Managed Services)<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\nDepartment: Technical<br \/>\nReporting Line: Team Lead, Project Management\/Technical Sales<br \/>\nSlot: 2<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Project Coordinator, who must have an understanding of Project Management Methodologies, exposure to PMP or PRINCE2, and with wireless and terrestrial network experience will be accountable, on-time and on-budget for Service Delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Specifically the job holder will be responsible for the following;<\/li>\n<li>Defines clearly project objective.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Access Requests and Material Movements with the appropriate parties (Logistics, Partner Providers, Vendors, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the installation of network equipment at customer premises or at core network nodes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and manages project plans and implementation schedules using MS Project and other suitable software.<\/li>\n<li>Provides the Project Team (incl.
