position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Field Assistant (Volunteer)<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Borno<strong><br \/>\nIntroduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Save the Children International is a \u2018dual mandate\u2019 organisation and as such equal priority will be given to both humanitarian and development work.<\/li>\n<li>This is the only way we will be able to ensure that some of the fundamental rights that we believe children have, such as survival, safety and constant access to protection and education can be guaranteed.<\/li>\n<li>As part of a commitment to work with children through humanitarian interventions Save the Children will support programmes in both sudden onset and chronic emergency situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support implementation of FSL component of project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nProgram Support (typically will be at field level):<strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct community sensitization and mobilization with regards to FFP voucher program.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure community leaders are briefed about the program and expectation.<\/li>\n<li>Work with community leaders to establish communities in collaboration with IDP\/Community leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Sensitization of leadership structures (community committees) formed on program objective, beneficiary targeting, and selection and eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Sensitize selected vendor on the program specially the E-voucher system and involvement in the program.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure both the beneficiaries and vendors are assisted during voucher transfer transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct monthly market monitoring across markets in Maiduguri from traders both program and non-program vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct post distribution monitoring from sample of beneficiaries after voucher transfer.<\/li>\n<li>To Work alongside community leaders and committees to identify beneficiaries, who will be registered and enrolled on the program using structured form on kobo.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct baseline survey for selected beneficiaries using structured questionnaire on kobo platform.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure community leaders and formed committees are sensitized on voucher system and entitlement from the program.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties that may be duties assigned related to implementation of FFP program in Maiduguri.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>General:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comply with Save the Children policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and weaknesses<\/li>\n<li>Makes positive statements about work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education \u2013 B.Sc\/B.Agric level or any other relevant subject or equivalent field experience.<\/li>\n<li>A high level of written and spoken English<\/li>\n<li>The capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to the aims and principles of SC.
