The company\u2019s client targets include among others, high-net worth individuals, corporate bodies, educational institutions, private and public offices, government departments and agencies etc.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the following vacant positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Chief Security Officer (CSO)<\/p>\n<p>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a company executive, a chief security officer may also be the public spokesperson for all information security-related company issues.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out risk assessments and make recommendations to senior management,<\/li>\n<li>Assess level of risk in terms of wider issues such as international\/national terrorism and animal rights issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that reports are analysed in terms of trends emerging to inform decisions on<\/li>\n<li>Cost effective deployment of staff, CCTV etc.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for the security budget and efficient and effective provision of operational security service.<\/li>\n<li>Support Teams and Premises Managers in order to facilitate an integrated service.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure \u2018Security by Design\u2019 principles are in place thus reducing the opportunity for crime<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Head of Protocol and others .<\/li>\n<li>Advise Senior Management on confidential or sensitive matters and act as a conduit between the organisation and the police at all levels in order to expedite solutions to difficult situations.<\/li>\n<li>Receive and deal with any information that has a security dimension and deal with this in a confidential manner.<\/li>\n<li>Devise policies and procedures regarding areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention and fraud prevention, and privacy.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company, including information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management and other groups.<\/li>\n<li>Identify security initiatives and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee network of vendors and directors who secure the company&#8217;s assets.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee safeguarding of intellectual property and computer systems.<\/li>\n<li>Develop procedures to ensure physical safety of employees and visitors.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the development and implementation of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure security is maintained and updated.<\/li>\n<li>Create workplace violence awareness and prevention programs.<\/li>\n<li>Implement video surveillance.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize security initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop network access and monitoring policies.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop emergency procedures and incident responses.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate security breaches.<\/li>\n<li>Implement disciplinary procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct audits to find holes in security platform.<\/li>\n<li>Develop risk management assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Create global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must have HND\/Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Information Technology, Network Systems.
