Action Against Hunger | ACF-International works to save lives by combating hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable communities, through nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, health and advocacy.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: WASH Emergency Manager<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Description<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ll contribute to ending world hunger by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Setting up of all WASH program(s) taking into account the logical framework of the program(s), the budget, and the logistical and administrative processes of Action Against Hunger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Resposnibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nKey Activities in your Role Will Include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To Set up, implement and report on WASH projects.<\/li>\n<li>To oversee the implementation of, and ensure reporting on, programs\/projects.<\/li>\n<li>To guarantee the quality and accountability of projects.<\/li>\n<li>To Coordinate activities with other sectors and departments.<\/li>\n<li>To manage WASH team.<\/li>\n<li>To promote capitalization, technical development and research within the WASH Department.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to deliberations on strategy and the positioning of the WASH Department.<\/li>\n<li>To Identify needs and contribute to project elaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Does the Description Fit You?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a university degree in Water Engineering\/Construction Engineering\/Public Health with experience in water, sanitation, hygiene or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>You have at least 2 years\u2019 experience in WASH programming, preferably in a humanitarian or international development context.<\/li>\n<li>You qualifications in engineering in fragile contexts.<\/li>\n<li>You are experienced in providing technical support to teams and programs.<\/li>\n<li>You have WASH Emergency response capacity .<\/li>\n<li>You are diplomatic and can assist colleagues to handle difficult situations.<\/li>\n<li>You possess excellent management and representation competencies.<\/li>\n<li>You are willing to work in insecure context.<\/li>\n<li>You are have the energy and stamina to withstand long working hours and often stressful conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><br \/>\nAction Against Hunger values its employees and offers a comprehensive remuneration and benefits package.
