Position Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>e.Stream Networks Limited, an ISO9001 Quality Certified company is a licensed broadband communications provider dedicated to providing suitable connectivity solutions for businesses.With over a decade in the ICT sector and presence all over Nigeria, we leverage on providing a unique combination of industry experience and expertise in our service offering to all our clients across the country.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Network Operations Manager<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nReports to: GM Technical<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for managing the network operations team in-order to deploy quality service, maintain 99.9 % service availability and provide proactive network efficiency by delivering prompt service support at 1st and 2nd level of escalations.<\/li>\n<li>Services to be deployed and supported are Internet and VPN which are deployed via various last-mile access technologies such as VSAT, Optic Fiber, Microwave Radio, Wifi and Outdoor 4G LTE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nStrategic Insight and Integration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide clear direction on all Operational Process and Procedures (both tactical and strategic goals) for an efficient network operations.<\/li>\n<li>Development and adhering of standard operating procedures for deploying all our products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the unit annual budget and providing inputs to the departmental annual budget.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technological innovation to deploy more services which are cost effective.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast with latest happenings in Last-mile access technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Attend project &amp; departmental meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Technical \/ Analysis and Problem Solving:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures eStream services are deployed in accordance to the quality standard and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures proactive monitoring of all services to deliver 99.9% availability.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that there is no course to revisit sites deployed within 6months.<\/li>\n<li>Provide proactive technical solutions on network issues escalated to the 2nd level.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures 90% implementation of the annual maintenance plan<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all resolvable issues (within control) are resolved within the specified OLA time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Leadership:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure team maintains and updates knowledge base related to supported technologies and applications<\/li>\n<li>Manage Regional Field Service engineers for optimal network operations.<\/li>\n<li>Team lead special deployment projects.<\/li>\n<li>Regular training of Service Desk team members for effective 1st level troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>Regular coaching of direct reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interpersonal, Relationship Management &amp; Collaboration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments, teams and Clients.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with 3rd party vendors in delivering quality service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Communication:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide and present companywide Weekly Operational Status reports including Service Deployment Report to all stake holder.<\/li>\n<li>Escalate 3rd level issues (not within control) to OEM\u2019s; 3rd party providers and SM Network Planning &amp; Optimization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Customer Focus:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure adherence to customer specification and SLA<\/li>\n<li>Prompt resolution of 2nd level issues and some 3rd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop annual budget for the department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation &amp; Work Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Electronics Engineering or related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years work experience in a relevant role.<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience in an ISP environment deploying Microwave radio, VSAT Links and Wifi Solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Affiliation with 2 relevant professional bodies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competency, Skills &amp; Certifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Management Training (PMP)<\/li>\n<li>GVF 510 Certification<\/li>\n<li>CWNA Certification<\/li>\n<li>iDirect IOM (or similar training)<\/li>\n<li>MTCNA \/ CCNA \u2013 Cisco.<\/li>\n<li>Strong RF Technology Skills \u2013 Aviat, Dragon, Cambium, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti.<\/li>\n<li>VSAT technology Skills \u2013 iDirect Technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership, Relationship &amp; People Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KPIs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all deployment are done within 7days.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Quality of deployment meets 100% eStream standard.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a weekly record of 99.9% of network availability.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all 1st and 2nd level escalation are done within agreed SLA<\/li>\n<li>Ensure 20% cumulative quarterly cost savings on all deployment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The incumbent may be required to sit in cold (air conditioned) rooms for a long time.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent may be required to travel out of station often.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Physical Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position does not require any physically demanding task.
