By joining \u201cBourbon\u201d you will be \u201cUnder the flag of excellence\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nJob Title:\u00a0Supply Vessel Referent Captain<\/strong><br \/>\nRef No: 170253<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<br \/>\nContract: Permanent (rotation plan to be discussed during interview)<br \/>\n<strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train and assess Supply vessel crew at sea<\/li>\n<li>Makes recommendations regarding crew suitability for Promotions as applicable<\/li>\n<li>Coaches Captains and crew on areas designed by the skills standard (navigation, maneuvers, operations, safety, communication, behavior\u2026.)<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement Anchor Handling Training Manual<\/li>\n<li>Assess Captains, Chief Officers, Second Officers, Bosun\u2019s, AB\u2019s based on approved scope<\/li>\n<li>Assess general status of the vessel (housekeeping, documentation etc.<\/li>\n<li>Makes recommendation to HSE department to feed into training and B-Safe meetings<\/li>\n<li>Participates in Incident Investigations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Line reporting and functional linkage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to OSV Fleet Manager<\/li>\n<li>Interfaces with HR\/Crewing Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master greater than 3000 GRT License<\/li>\n<li>Shall hold a valid unlimited DP Certificate, issued by the Nautical Institute (NI).<\/li>\n<li>He shall have a minimum of 18 months sea time experience operating the DP controls system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key skills &amp;
