Pre-sales engineering support for the IPD products and solutions.<\/li>\n
Engages with account teams and end customers to assess customer requirements, defines network architectures and solutions,\u00a0 contributes directly to tenders \/customer proposals.\u00a0 Possess a strong combination of technical understanding and business skills while acting as IP advocate within the MEA Region.<\/li>\n
Undertakes analysis of customer and market requirements, translates such requirements internally\u00a0\u00a0 and responds effectively to customers.<\/li>\n
Markets: Broadband aggregation via xDSL\/ GPON, Carrier Ethernet, L2\/L3\u00a0 VPN services, IP Core routing, Security, Cloud and Datacenters, Mobile backhaul,\u00a0 2G\/3G\/LTE Packet Core.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Main Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
Specific solutions\/technology\/product consulting and sales support to both account teams and external customers.<\/li>\n
Key technical and commercial contributor to customer RFI, RFP and RFQ responses.<\/li>\n
Responsible for competitive analysis of IPD solutions in the market.<\/li>\n
Prepares and delivers RFX proposals , product presentations and business cases to customers.<\/li>\n
Contributes to account strategies and direction by promoting IPD solutions and business practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
Cisco CCIE, NOKIA\u00a0 SRC or equivalent qualified<\/li>\n
Detailed understanding of IP\/MPLS technologies<\/li>\n
Proven experience in IP Pre- or Post Sales function with 5 years + Experience<\/li>\n
Proven record in customer focus<\/li>\n
Must be experienced in Cisco IOS & NOKIA\u00a0 SROS<\/li>\n
Experience with other router operating systems desirable<\/li>\n
Understanding of real customer networks<\/li>\n
Proven presentation skills<\/li>\n
Detailed knowledge of\u00a0 NOKIA\u00a0 IP portfolio<\/li>\n
Experience of influencing large multi national project teams is considered highly desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Other Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
A reasonable amount of travel should be expected as this is a MEA wide role requiring high customer contact.<\/li>\n
Requests for support material may be required in short timescales enforced by the customer so time management skills are vital.<\/li>\n
Because the role is an integral part of the EMEA RBC, the ability to work as part of a distributed team is critical.<\/li>\n
The role will require international travel, sometimes at short notice. A flexible approach to work, especially when communicating with other NOKIA\u00a0 groups, is essential, as is the ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks.<\/li>\n
The job requires a very good view of customers\u2019 network architectures and practices and therefore must understand a customer operational processes and confidentiality concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
