This is a great opportunity to join a large international group offering an important exposure.<\/p>\n<p><em>JOB REFERENCE N\u00b0: NGA0355<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>SECTOR: Industry \u2013 Nigeria \u2013 Western Africa<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>FUNCTION: Supply chain<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client is looking for an experimented Supply Chain Manager.<\/p>\n<p>She\/ he will report directly to CEO.<\/p>\n<p>She\/he will be responsible for overseeing of all supply chain process; planning, development, manufacturing, logistics and distribution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Her\/ His main responsibility will be to :<\/p>\n<p>direct the planning of procurement, logistics &amp; distribution<\/p>\n<p>ensure the efficiency while avoiding delays in a cost effective manner<\/p>\n<p>Implement group guidelines and Best practices in supply chain<\/p>\n<p>manage annual tendering process to select and contract preferred suppliers for the Business Unit<\/p>\n<p>evaluate of the functional efficiency through establishing and monitoring KPI for various supply chain processes<\/p>\n<p><strong>The main missions are to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>OVERSEE PURCHASING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Manage and coordinate the purchasing department and all national\/international purchasing operations (Raw materials, commodities, spare parts etc\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>Effective management of the Procure to pay process in the BU through adequate systems and other resources.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance to company policies and to all legal constraints.<\/p>\n<p>Selection and management of suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to Senior Management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OVERSEE LOGISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Management of the logistics system both in bound and out bound process through 3rd party management.<\/p>\n<p>Manage the logistic and distribution departments of the company.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and Implement cost effective solutions for process improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and promote HSE awareness within his teams and all 3rd parties.<\/p>\n<p>Work closely with the distributor network and insure constant availability of the products across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Create item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management.<\/p>\n<p>The position is based in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:<\/p>\n<p>High School Graduate [ Technical ]<\/p>\n<p>10-12 Years experience in a similar position as Supply chain Manager.<\/p>\n<p>A proven track record of driving positive company results through strategic negotiations, controlling costs and inventories, forging strong vendor-partner relationships and implementing processes to support current and future business.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated expertise in supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation and management, cost modeling and building collaborative supply relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to build strong collaborative relationships across cultures and contexts.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to shift priorities and deal with changing demands in an effective manner.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to align and coordinate resources to deliver results for committed schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Proficient with Microsoft Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is on offer?<\/strong><br \/>\nAttractive Package<\/p>\n<p>If your experience, personal characteristics and qualifications meet the position specifications and your personal objectives are to seek such a challenge, then we would like to hear from you with details of your current earnings, up to date CV and explanation as to why your achievements to date fit you for consideration<\/p>\n<p><strong>Click Link to apply<\/strong><br \/>\n<a title=\"Jobs in Nigeria by Adexen, Adexen jobs in Nigeria, careers and vacancies in Nigeria by Adexen Nigeria\" href=\"http:\/\/en.adexen.com\/offer_NGA0355_supply-chain-manager.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/en.adexen.com\/offer_NGA0355_supply-chain-manager.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client, an international industrial group, is looking for a Supply chain Manager to support its operations in Nigeria.
