{"id":39973,"date":"2017-07-21T11:29:35","date_gmt":"2017-07-21T10:29:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=39973"},"modified":"2017-07-21T11:59:14","modified_gmt":"2017-07-21T10:59:14","slug":"new-vacancy-huntech-solutions-limited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/new-vacancy-huntech-solutions-limited.html","title":{"rendered":"New Vacancy at Huntech Solutions Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Huntech Solutions \u2013 We specialize in designing and implementing business critical information technology solutions, uniquely combining our proven intellectual property with premier partner technologies to provide our customers with the competitive edge needed to succeed in today\u2019s business and technology landscapes.<br \/>\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Web Programmer\/Developer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<strong><br \/>\nJob Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019re seeking a Software Engineer with ecommerce (Magento) experience who will work within the team to build new features and functionality in the online store.<\/li>\n<li>From brainstorming through deployment, the Software Engineer will work with UI expert(s) to design and develop user interfaces and Internet\/Intranet applications.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for developing information systems by designing, developing, customizing and testing software with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible to establish all possible options for designing and deriving the best solutions based on sound analytical judgment<\/li>\n<li>Research new technologies that push the boundaries and capabilities of design and provide insight on applying these to the development of software<\/li>\n<li>Design push and pull data interfaces using the latest web and data sharing technologies integrated to a multitude of third party providers.<\/li>\n<li>Create intuitive, logical and dynamic user interfaces with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript (JQuery and AJAX), PHP.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for optimization-focused design to ensure that all code is written with high availability and high-impact; Accountable for efficiency-focused design that serves to ensure that all code is highly reusable and modular.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of four-year degree Computer Science, Information Systems or related field OR equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years web development experience<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of PHP experience<\/li>\n<li>2+ years experience with e-commerce websites<\/li>\n<li>Experience writing custom web application and software required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Essential Experience designing, developing, testing and deploying software applications<\/li>\n<li>In-depth experience writing and optimizing SQL queries<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition), J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition), C#, and other languages is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>JavaScript (JQuery, AJAX), HTML5, CSS, SQL, MySQL, PHP, Zend Framework or Cakephp or any other MVC Framework<\/li>\n<li>Object Oriented Design\/Programming<\/li>\n<li>Magento or relevant Ecommerce platform experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Laravel 5.0<\/li>\n<li>Expertise with Magento ecommerce platform, EAV data models, Magento API\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Expertise with PHP 5.3 + object oriented code (Namespaces, SPL, Keywords, Magic Methods, Type Hinting)<\/li>\n<li>Expertise with SQL and relational databases with the ability to optimize queries and design schema\u2019s for large systems<\/li>\n<li>Fluency with Javascript and libraries such as jQuery and Backbone<\/li>\n<li>Experience with front-end build tools &amp; workflows (Gulp, Bower)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with CSS frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with working with source control tools: GIT, SVN.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Web Optimization, Insights\/Analytics, and Digital Marketing \u2013 with concentration in SEO<\/li>\n<li>Active industry standards participation and thought leadership in the area of user experience, usability testing, human factors and interaction.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise with all aspects of a modern LAMP (Linux (Ubuntu 12.04), Apache, Nginx, Varnish, MySQL 5.6, PHP 5.3+) environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PHP frameworks (Symfony 2, Silex, CakePHP) and libraries (Composer, Doctrine2, Zend, PEAR)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Python and other server side scripting languages: Ruby, NodeJs, Perl, Bash a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with architecture and scaling of websites, specifically e-commerce sites in the cloud (AWS, Linode, Rackspace Cloud)<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and mentoring skills<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and experience with agile development methods, specific experience with Scrum is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assist non-technical staff to write requirements and develop plans<\/li>\n<li>Ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks with more than one ongoing project and see projects through to completion<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain AWS server structure. Including implementation of load balancers, elastic bean stalk, and other potential configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Implement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brilliant problem solver, proven innovator, and excellent communicator with a passion for great design and the ability to achieve it.
