Procurement managed by this position are those identified as strategic, business critical, and\/or having significant leverage opportunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, execute, and track group strategy and policies for one or more merchandise category leveraging the identified value handle.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the business to define category needs and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Manage and direct the strategic sourcing efforts (sourcing calendar)<\/li>\n<li>Perform value analysis and total cost of ownership analytical activities<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate strategic sourcing activities with stakeholders for sourced categories, including preparing category sourcing results and sourcing step details<\/li>\n<li>and summaries<\/li>\n<li>Provide Stakeholders\u2019 department with spend savings analysis across categories for forecasting and budgeting purposes<\/li>\n<li>Prepare periodic stakeholder activities alignment and category planning materials<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Stakeholder and Legal department on contract negotiations<\/li>\n<li>Report on contracting activity<\/li>\n<li>Complete the collection, analysis, and reporting of category spend and savings data monthly<\/li>\n<li>Conduct the development of sourcing strategies, industry and supplier research, bidding, supplier selection, and contract negotiations<\/li>\n<li>Developed excellent customer database and maintain good customer relation<\/li>\n<li>Organize purchasing orders and requests for purchase orders of goods and materials<\/li>\n<li>Contact suppliers with a request for purchase<\/li>\n<li>Review the company inventory to see what needs to be purchased<\/li>\n<li>Order necessary company products and supplies<\/li>\n<li>Monitor income deliveries against purchased goods to make sure there is no discrepancy<\/li>\n<li>Track orders<\/li>\n<li>Manage orders that were never purchased, never delivered or damaged upon arrival<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with accounts receivable and accounts payable to make outstanding are settled promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain any reports to document material traffic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/li>\n<li>At least four years of relevant strategic sourcing experience<\/li>\n<li>Prior management experience<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of cost savings approaches<\/li>\n<li>Established strategic sourcing skills, including documentation and communication of strategy<\/li>\n<li>Networking and team skills<\/li>\n<li>Strategically oriented<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills<\/li>\n<li>Project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Procurement and strategic sourcing knowledge, specifically with multiple retail, merchandise specific category sourcing expertise<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to successfully address large supplier relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\ninterested and qualified candidates should submit a copy of their detailed &amp; recent CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@afordonzgroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr@afordonzgroup.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Use the job title as the subject of your mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Multiple applications may result in disqualification.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>27th July, 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Afordonz Consulting Limited \u2013 Our client an FMCG company is seeking to recruit an experienced candidate to join a team of professionals in driving a double-digit growth through an ambitious&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[57],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>FMCG Company: Now Hiring - Apply Now!
